When Will Earning Money in Tapped Out Become Easier?

simpsons tapped out money

A common question that seems to run across a lot of new tappers minds is “Am I doing something wrong?  When will earning money in this game become easy?”  You may play Tapped Out everyday (in some cases multiple times a day) only to feel like you’re constantly running out of cash.  As the game advances it may seem like the buildings keep going up in price but your bank account never quite seems to catch up.

Almost every player goes through this at some point or another, so If you’re struggling to build up cash  for new levels, decorate your town, and expand land at the early stages of the game it’s perfectly normal.  Believe it or not, there will be a point in the game when it all seems to get easier and you begin to build up more than enough money to do what you need, and believe it or not this can be accomplished WITH OUT house farming.   Continue reading

Aside

So first and foremost, Welcome to Tapped-Out 2D on TSTO Addicts!  This humble little page is a proud subsidiary of Wookieecorp (ripping arms out of sockets since 77).  If you don’t know me, I am Joe Wookiee Riot and really … Continue reading

Wookieecorp brings you… Comic Book Guy

Wanted to start off the 2D Design portion of Addicts with one of the Designs I made already to try and help out my fellow Tapperinos.  I tried to keep the design simple and took some screenshots through the process so maybe you could see how I go about placing the decorations to make a 2D.  So here’s the pic I chose which is a simple image of one of my favorite characters.   As an uber nerd, what isn’t there to love about the one and only Comic Book Guy aka Jeff Albertson.

Should I Spend Donuts on K9 Officer?

Level 33 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes the K9 Officer, a premium character for the Simpsons Tapped Out.  I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts On This?”  Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding the K9 Officer to your Springfield.

Tapped Out K9 Officer unlockmessage

Character: K9 Officer
Donut Price: 45 Donuts
Pros:
-Reasonably priced.
-He’s voiced.  He leans forward and barks when tapped.
-Completes the Civil Servants Character Collection

Cons:
-No tasks are assigned for the K9 Officer
-Does not come with an unlock quest.
-No interaction with other characters and/or animals in Springfield.

Final Thought: Personally I think you’re better off saving your donuts and passing on this one.  The K9 Officer really provides no benefit to your Springfield and aside from the entertainment value of his bark, has really no return for your invested donuts.  So, unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters or you’re a completest, I’d pass on this one and save your donuts.

The Sunsphere and The Simpsons

simpsons tapped out sunsphere wigsphere
Hello Fellow Tapped Out Addicts!

Level 33 has brought us the Sunsphere!  Since it’s another one of those additions to the game that may leave some tappers scratching their heads (after all it’s not in Springfield) I thought it’d be fun to break down the Simpsons connection.

Simpsons Connection
The Sunsphere is from a 1996 episode of the Simpsons “Bart on the Road”. In the episode Bart spends the day at the DMV with Patty and Selma. When they’re not looking he makes a fake driver’s license.
After seeing a brochure for the World’s Fair, Bart uses the fake ID to rent a car and drive Milhouse, Martin and Nelson to Knoxville, TN.  They arrive in Knoxville only to discover the World’s Fair was actually in 1982 and the Sunsphere has been renamed the Wigsphere, since it’s now wig warehouse.
Real World
The Sunsphere is a real attraction in Knoxville that was built for the 1982 World’s Fair. In 2007 the Sunsphere was renovated and restored.  It’s now a 266ft multi-level restaurant with observation decks. Not a wig in site!

Will you be adding the Sunsphere to your town?
