Season 28 Premiere Prize Breakdown: New Lard Lad to the Cinnabun

Ah Autumn…leaves are falling, that crispness in the air has arrived and there’s a brand new season of TV on!  There’s a whole new season of TV shows…and the Simpsons Season 28 starts this Sunday!  To celebrate the Season Premiere EA has launched a fun Episode Tie-In Mini Event in our games.

This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For each of the first 4 parts of Battle of the Brands you’ll have to earn  via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.  Initially you could only unlock the first four prizes, as the final two unlock once the day of the premiere arrived…(the 25th).

So let’s take a look at the details of these first four prizes.  What they do, how you unlock them and questlines associated with them….

The first prize you’ll unlock is the New Lard Lad..

Size: 10×11
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Gluttony +10
Earns: $200, 20xp/12hrs

Prize two is Moe’s Brewing Co…

How You Unlock It: Battle of the Brands Pt. 2
Make Homer Check Mail for Gift Cards- 3hrs, Earns 1, 35xp
Collect Gift Cards- x12.  Earns 1 Freemium and 2  Premium.
Each task is 3hrs and here’s who you can send for part 2 (it does change for each part):
Lisa- Earns 1
Moe- Earns 1
Flanders- Earns 1
Homer- Earns 1
Laiird Ladd- Earns 2

Size: 6×5
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Consumerism +10
Build Time: 3hrs
Earns: $200, 20xp/12hrs
Where Can It Go: Springfield, Squidport.
Animated: When in use the lights inside turn on…
Task: After the questline Homer will have a task there, Drink at Moe’s Brewing Co (4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp)

The Beer Minimum Pt. 1
Moe starts

Make Moe Inspect Moe’s Brewing Co.- 1hr, Earns $70, 17xp

The Beer Minimum Pt. 2
Moe starts

Make Moe Dig a Tunnel to Moe’s Tavern- 3hrs, Earns $135, 35xp

The Beer Minimum Pt. 3
Lisa starts

Make Homer Visit Moe’s Brewing Co.- 3hrs, Earns $135, 35xp

Teleporting: Once you’ve completed the questline you’ll unlock the ability to teleport from the Brewing Co to Moe’s.  Simply tap the Brewing Co. and hit Go To.  It’ll transport you to Moe’s…

It does not work in reverse (From Moe’s to the Brewing Co.)

Prize three is  The Tarp Covered Statue Facade for your New Lard Lad Building:

Make Homer Buy Gift Cards as Lazy Presents- 3hrs, Earns 1 , 35xp
Collect Gift Cards- x12. Earns 1 Freemium and 2  Premium.
Each task is 3hrs and here’s who you can send for part 2 (it does change for each part):

Moe- Earns 1
Flanders- Earns 1
Homer- Earns 1
Apu- Earns 1 
Quimby- Earns 1

What Is It?: This one is a facade for your New Lard Lad building.  It just changes the look of your New Lard Lad Building..simply tap the building to toggle back and forth between looks

The fourth, and final, initial release prize is Cinnabun

Animated: Yes, when in use it actually looks like it’s closed.  The windows go dark..

Make Homer Gorge Himself on Cinnamon Buns- 3hrs, Earns $135, 35xp
