What’s missing?
Here’s the deal, this was the questline when we started playing. If EA made changes along the way, ok. But it’s difficult for us to know those changes as our games are well beyond this point. It would require us to start yet another game and start over. If you know what’s missing, tell me and I’ll modify it. But at this point I don’t have the time to start another game and stay on top of the new content.

I know this is an old post, but I’m already up to level 100 and still haven’t been able to unlock the Truffle or Jake’s Unisex which affects me unlocking the General Hospital for the Thanksgiving event. Any help? Thank you!

Hi Alissa, thanks for the quick reply. My non-premium tasks are all up to date, but my Drederick Tatum “The Champ’s Comeback Pt.3” asks to build the Truffle, but it is locked when I do so. Same thing with Jake’s Unisex Hair, Abe Lincoln is prompted and it is still locked even though in both cases all my characters are free. What do u suggest? Thanks as always!
Something, somewhere is snagged in the quest chain. As those are all early buildings.

This site is proving to be super helpful but the must have raised the prices of everything since this post was made.. the reactor core was 24k and the control building is currently at 19k..
Yea, sometimes it’s hard for us to go back that far and see what’s been changed (price wise).

Firstly, kudos on the exhaustive research and tireless support that you provide. I hope that EA rewards you with lavish amounts of cash and artery clogging punk goodies. 🙂
However, it seems that EA has added another quest to this Level for Bart. Right after unlocking him with the Treehouse, it prompts a 24 hour sleepover with Milhouse not mentioned above.
Just an FYI for noobs. I had to restart after my Level 45 crashed last weekend, but I took your advice and card the Texas based call centre, and they’ve escalated to Level 3. Hopefully I’ll get most of my items back at some point, but will likely miss out on this awesome Superhero quest line. 🙁

Most of these posts were written 2yrs ago. A lot has changed since then. We haven’t had the time yet to go through and pick apart 40+ questlines through yet another test game (not to mention the amount of donuts it will take). We have been slowly going through some of them when time allows. 😉
Can anyone help me. I’m on level 16 and only just got the library but some neighbours have everything up to Moe’s tavern and their on the same level..
It’s most likely that your XP level and gameplay level are different. Often, you advance to higher XP levels while you’re still doing tasks for previous levels. Best bet is to just check the walkthroughs to see where you’re really at. What was the last building you completed?
Any tips on the dog track or is it totally random?

Prices have basically doubled since this was created. Pretty annoyed with this game due to how much everything costs to build yet u get basically nothing from the buildings and houses
After Homer completed his shift at the plant, Burns prompted a selfie to run the plant (24 hours). What’s up with that? I did get the prompt for Bart Crusoe Part 1 though.
I have also noticed, as it was previously mentioned, that the current prices are much higher now than the guides list.
A lot of the dialog here might have changed over the course of the time we wrote it. Please look to our Realty Guide for the most up to date and current prices.

I have noticed a few times that I have had to pay more than what is stated for items…
An example is I just got Bart’s treehouse yesterday and it cost me over $38,000 (I can’t remember exactly, it may have been $38,320 or something like that) instead of $25,000… that is over half as much again and I know it isn’t the first time it has happened.
Why would I be paying more for these..?
Honestly, I can’t remember what I paid for it way back when. According to our realty guide, you paid what it costs. Possible EA tweaked the price at some point but I can’t remember. I know the top buildings are more expensive until you get several levels past them. Every item has a base price though.

I seem to have completely skipped getting Jake’s Unisex Hair Place, the Gilded Truffle, and King Toot’s. I started play during Easter, and wonder if this affected anything.
I’m on level 36. I have everything from the start up to Springfield Downs and Moe’s. Then the next building prompt I got was the Police Station. Then Luigi’s, Skip’s, the Penitentiary, the Retirement Castle, Nelson Muntz’s, City Hall, the Krabappel apartment, Channel 6, and now I am building the Hibbert Family Practice.
So, Jake’s, the Truffle, and King Toot’s never happened.
I did have get prompt for “I’m Stalking on Sunshine!” which I completed, and also “What’s in the Back Room?” which I have completed (both many times now, and had Marge-Midge free when Moe stopped spying). But never got Marge’s prompt for “Free Band-Aids with Every Cut Pt. 1” or any “Truffle Surprise.” I did “Miranda Rights” and Chief Wiggum built barriers and “The Only Sport America Still Dominates” – but not “We Don’t Sell myPods.”
I’m well into Kamp Krusty/Kamp Bart, Krustyland, and Squidport.
I’ve tried storing Moe’s (with Moe & Marge), logging out, force closing, uninstalling, shutting down, reinstalling, and none of that stuff helps me get to Jake’s. I’ve run out of ideas!

No worries…we all went through the “wonky” point in the levels where it seems to skip around a bit and things go a lil out of order. Just keep playing and it will eventually play catch up to the items you do not yet have. Just keep in mind, the level at the bottom of your screen is just your XP level and lets you know what you CAN unlock. The game play level itself is based on where in the walkthroughs you are. So just keep going and completing them. The rest will trigger eventually. (Took a while for me to unlock the Hospital and I jumped ahead.) If you are at a standstill though and nothing at all triggers for a while, that is when you may need to get EA involved and contact them. Otherwise, just keep tapping away. 😉
Thank you, that’s good to be reassured. For awhile I saved the longer obligatory yellow “do it!” tasks for overnight, so maybe I got myself out of order and wonky. Now I do them each as they come along. For kicks I tried putting the Treehouse, Milhouse’s house, the Police Station, Springfield Downs, & Moe’s all into storage, signing out, powering off & on, and taking them out one by one. Didn’t help – yet. I’ll just be patient and hope one day I get the coveted Gilded Truffle.

I am on level 13 and have four tasks going. One is for st paddys. I completed the catch 40 guinea pigs task but homer did not prompt the next part though he has been free six times since completing the first part. The other three tasks I have I am doing but these are not listed in the walk through. The last building I had to build was the library and now the game keeps asking me to send Bart and Milhouse on a sleepover over and over. ??????
Try a troubleshooting step to see if it helps to refresh the game. Put Barts Treehouse in storage and Milhouses house. This will pull those two characters out of the game. Once stored, log out of your game, restart your device. After it powers back up, log back in, then replace Milhouse’ first, then once that is done…put the Treehouse back. See if this helps at all and let us know.

I would say just continue doing other tasks. See if it kicks in. Sometimes they “catch” and it takes a day for it to get caught up. Send the characters needed for it on other tasks in the meantime. Short ones.
I have a big problem with the Gilded truffle i cannot unlock it i have completed everything even Clean the house and then NOTHNIG any help?
So you did not get the task to send Homer to shop at the Kwik-E-Mart? Is Homer free?
Has anyone else had any problems with the “Nu-cular” quests not prompting? I somehow managed to get to level 12 without building the cooling towers or other parts of the power plant, and now homer is prompting me to build the reactor, but all of the power plant options are locked and I can’t figure out what I did wrong. Are there quests I should have done first in order to build the plant?
Hmmmm…sometimes the game does skip a few quests. Have you tried storing all the buildings (minus Simpson’s of course) log out, restart your device, then log back in and place each building back…one by one? Sometimes this will trigger it. If not, try going in and out of your “Other Springfield” and neighbors. See if that will help and let us know. 😉
p.s. You do not necessarily have to store them ALL. Just the ones prior to the Cooling Tower quests and after it. 😉
Do you have to build the orange house to continue the main quest or just to continue the terrace quest?

The next part of the Terrace quest won’t appear if you don’t build it. But it could cause a domino effect in your quest progression so I wouldn’t wait too long to build it 🙂
