Should I Spend Donuts on K9 Officer?

Level 33 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes the K9 Officer, a premium character for the Simpsons Tapped Out.  I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts On This?”  Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding the K9 Officer to your Springfield.

Character: K9 Officer
Donut Price: 45 Donuts
Pros: 
-Reasonably priced.
-He’s voiced.  He leans forward and barks when tapped.
-Completes the Civil Servants Character Collection

Cons:
-No tasks are assigned for the K9 Officer
-Does not come with an unlock quest.
-No interaction with other characters and/or animals in Springfield.

Final Thought: Personally I think you’re better off saving your donuts and passing on this one.  The K9 Officer really provides no benefit to your Springfield and aside from the entertainment value of his bark, has really no return for your invested donuts.  So, unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters or you’re a completest, I’d pass on this one and save your donuts.

    I have been enjoying Snowball Ii in my Springfield and I got some extra donuts from a weekly Mystery Box today. So I decided to splurge on the K9 officer. I think I’m glad I did. He looks very smart prancing around the town. I got a nice game cash bonus for completing the police force character set. But when people say all he does is barks when tapped, well, it is a disappointment. Snowball Ii is hilarious–she may either meow adorably like my best kitty, or hack up a hairball that bounces. This stupid dog barks once and that is it. Not even, “woof, woof”. Somebody at EA should go back and upgrade the animation a little.

    Looks like the spelling is incorrect on the character field for this article:
    Character: 9K Officer instead of K9 Officer 🙂
