World’s Largest Zirconia and the Note

Hello Fellow Tapped Out Addicts!

Hope you’re all enjoying level 34 as much as I am! Today I wanted to take a little break from game play and take a look at the newest aspirational item in TSTO, the World’s Largest Zirconia.
aspirational
For a cool $5,000,000 tappers can add the latest aspirational item to their Springfield’s but why the Worlds Largest Zirconia? What does it have to do with The Simpsons? Was in shown in a previous episode?
Well to find the answer out we have to travel way back to Season 5 of The Simpsons. Episode 11 of Season 5 in the episode “Homer the Vigilante”. In the episode a cat burglar has infiltrates Springfield, stealing everything from Marge’s pearls to Lisa’s saxophone! When the people of Springfield are fed up with the police being ineffective at catching the thief they decide to take matters into their own hands.

With Homer as their leader, although they had all of the best of intentions of catching the cat burglar, the group ends up being more like a group of vigilantes and fail to catch the cat burglar.

When Homer makes an appearance on Brockman’s Smartline to discuss the crimes the cat burglar calls in and taunts Homer and the groups ability to catch him. He also tells homer that he will steal the world’s largest cubic zirconia, Springfield’s claim to fame, from the Springfield museum.

Naturally Homer and his group start guarding the museum, but when the zirconia is stolen anyway because Homer was too drunk to stop it!

Of course Grampa Simpson comes to the rescue and solves the case. He tells Homer that the cat burglar is a fellow resident of the Springfield Retirement Castle, a smooth talking charmer named Molloy. According the Grampa he knew it was Molloy because “he had the world’s largest cubic zirconia on his coffee table.”

So now you know the history behind the zirconia and how it relates to the Simpsons, but what about the note? For those tappers who have purchased this $5,000,000 vanity item, you’ll notice that when you tap on it the zirconia disappears and in it’s place is a note appears. Curious about this note?

Well this addict thinks the answer to that also lies within the “Homer the Vigilante” episode.  After Molloy is arrested and in Springfield Jail he casually mentions that he has millions buried under a giant “T” somewhere in Springfield. Of course this causes the people of Springfield to go crazy looking for the “treasure”.

When they finally find the right “T” and start digging they uncover a briefcase. Inside is a note, from Molloy, that says, “Rightfully sorry there is no hidden treasure. I’ve already used this time to escape from your jail. Fondest wishes.”

So, at least in my mind, the note appears to be from Molloy as he’s once again stolen the World’s Largest Zirconia from Springfield! At least it makes for an interesting story behind the $5,000,000 TSTO purchase! And I bet now, if you do buy it, you’ll be placing it close to or under a big “T” in your town!

  1. Regarding the cubic zirconia, I accidentally sold it. How can I get it back?

  2. Is it unique?

  3. I can’t see this item in the list of building options in my game. did they remove it recently?

  4. The cubic zirconia is great for XP farming and burning extra cash. I have bought and sold it twice.

  5. This episode was on recently in australia, so for once i knew all about it. 🙂

  6. It may be aspirational but please, don’t call it a building. It is a Decoration.
No buildtime, no hammer and “V”, no “Heads Up!” and it’s listed in…. Decorations 🙂
