Should I Spend Donuts on Disco Stu?

Level 35 is here and with it comes a blast from the 70’s, Disco Stu!  I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts On This?”  Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding Stu to your Springfield.

discostu
Character:
Disco Stu
Donut Price: 180 donuts (Yowzer!)
Pros:
-Comes with his own groovy quest line
-Several outdoor tasks, which is great because you can watch him boogie down!
-Comes with his own building, Stu’s Disco
-Will ride around your Springfield in roller-skates
-VOICED, with some REALLY funny sayings!

Cons:
-Pricey.  At 180 donuts he’s one of the more expensive premium characters to come with a building.
-After his quest line he has no other interactions with other characters.
-Some of his lines can, and will, get on your nerves.  All the groovy comments might make you feel like you’re stuck in an episode of “The Brady Bunch”

Final Thought:
Personally I’m a fan of the Disco Stu addition to the game.  I like that he comes with a building, and I believe it’s the first nightclub building in Springfield.  Which just means EA is starting to, finally, branch out and give us some different building options in Springfield.  I do think 180 is a pretty steep price to pay for him, but if you can save your donuts (or wait for a Gil sale!) I think Disco Stu is a must buy!

  1. Recently he’s on a discounted price and I’m wondering if it’s worth getting it?

  2. I didnt hot disco stu with level 35.. im in level 39 and no stu :/ what have i to do?

  3. Because of the second Springfield Heights Update (Ads) Stu’s is a must have because you will run out fast of yoga mats.

    • Yeah – if I had the Black Friday sale to do over again, I would have skipped Coach Krupt and the French Waiter and gotten Disco Stu instead. But I don’t see myself spending 180 to get Disco Stu, so I guess I’ll have to just manage without him!

With the new addition of Spei field Heights and L.A. Bodyworks I’m even more tempted to buy Disco Stu. However, I wanted to ask, has he ever been featured in a Gil sale or any TSTO sale?

  5. Thanks, A.! That’s disappointing to hear, but I’m glad to know one way or the other.

  6. Wow – First non-brand-new post I’ve ever seen here that doesn’t have any comments on it!

At any rate… I have a question about the disco…I read somewhere that all of the characters (or at least all of the ones that were in the game when this building was released) have an 8-hour task here. Does that task pay premium rates? (I’m thinking that it should, but thought I’d just double-check.)
