With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! Wondering if you should add the Cauldron to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding the the Cauldron to your Springfield.

Unique?: Yes, only 1 Cauldron per Springfield
Bonus: 2.25% (bonus cash & XP to all tasks)
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.03%
Pros:
-It unlocks the Witch Marge Costume for Marge, with a whole new set of tasks that earn at a PREMIUM rate (50% more cash & XP)
-Ability to speed up a crop
-Limited-Time costume from last year that was brought back. Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
Cons:
-No quest line with it.
-For 75 donuts you’re not adding a new character or building, mainly just a costume and decoration.
Final Thought:
Honestly…if you can swing it, I say go for it. This is one of the more sought after items to the game, and the fact that EA has brought it back for this Halloween is AWESOME. At 75 donuts it’s not the worst item you can buy. Plus you’ll earn a decent bonus percentage rate AND premium rates on her tasks.

I brought the cauldron but I never got an option to have witch marge… :/
Did you check Marge? See if the skin in in her list? Check Inventory Storage in Character section to see if it was stored away and needs to be activated?
Yeah I checked and I can’t find it anywhere. It’s annoying since I spent so many donuts on it 🙁

i got the cauldron for 25 donuts yesterday, not 75. WINNING!!!

I use her Speed up Crops task ALL the time. Highly worth it, if if you have the donuts.
How many donuts does it require to speed up a crop? I was wondering about purchasing Marge purely for the speed up crops action – worth it for corn??
depends on the crop.
She only speeds it up by 4hrs..
Just to be clear – can you only speed up a crop once? So 90 days less 4 hours for a corn crop? That wouldn’t really make much difference. But 90 days, less 4 hours several times could take days off the total
No you can do it over and over again
When you say that the marge witch costume is limited-time, will it eventually go out of your inventory? Or do your an that you can only purchase it for a limited time? I have only been playing a few months. Thanks in advance.
No worries, I was confused during my first big TSTO event too. If you purchase it it’s yours forever. But if you don’t purchase it while it’s here you won’t be able to purchase it after the event 🙂
If you purchase it, it is yours for as long as you play the game. But once Halloween is over (especially considering this is the second offering), Witch Marge is gone.
