Should I Spend Donuts on The Zombies?

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the premium zombies to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding premium zombies to your Springfield.

unlock_zombiehuman2       unlock_zombiehuman3

Character(s): Crazy Zombie/ Senile Zombie (Shuffling Zombie is free with collecting GOO & Snarling Zombie costs $50,000 in game cash)
Donut Price: 12 Donuts each
Unique?: Yes

Pros:
-Reasonably priced
-Animation when tapped, same animation as the Shuffling Zombie.
-Limited-Time characters.  Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.

Cons:
-No tasks are assigned for the Zombies
-Do not come with unlock quests
-No interaction with other characters and/or animals in Springfield

Final Thought:
Personally I think you’re better off saving your donuts and passing on this one.  While 12 donuts is a really low price for a premium character…so it may be tempting to buy… it’s still a character that will just walk around your town and not really give you any “in game value”, other than something pretty to look at (think Funzos).  So, unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters or you’re a completest, I’d pass on this one and save your donuts.

  1. Wich premium item I should buy to speed up?

    • What do you mean? Do you just want to know an item to buy in general? Unsure on the “to speed up” part.

    • I replied to you on our Facebook page too, but I will also post the information here too.

If you mean what should you buy to help you gain more Goo, that depends on how you use it. The two cemeteries generate 8 ghosts every 10 hours you can pop to get Goo. The Zapper does pop ghosts, but they have to be in range for it to take effect.

Quite honestly, the fastest way I have already hit the 10,000 Goo and more is by having active neighbors. 100 total. By just going to each neighbor daily, dropping Gremlins, popping ghosts, haunting houses, and getting the same in return…I hit the 10,000 really fast. So there is no real need to “speed” anything up.

      Hope this helps

  2. I bought them, because I like having the zombies shuffle around the town. It’s funny, when I saw the funzos I thought “how stupid, and expensive!” yet when I saw the zombies I thought “how cool, and cheap!”.
Guess it depends on whether they “fit” in your personal Springfield. Can’t wait to get the cat and complete the set.
I love how truly personalized the many Springfields are, I’d never buy the huge things like Mt Carlmore or the Springfield sign (etc), but ZOMG Bart the Raven and Oober creepy krusty clown doll… (shiver) awesomeness!

    • That’s the great thing about the game! I’m a player who’ll spend donuts if it benefits me, Mt. Carlmore & Springfield sign are both in my town because they earn great bonuses but I’d never spend donuts on the Raven because there’s no benefit to me. Although I will admit I do have some Funzo’s lurking around my town…purely accidental purchases (which is what I now always make sure the confirm donut spend button is on)

  3. I have a question about these two zombies …

Say we get the cat zombie through the community prize (highly likely) then by buying these two zombies we could easily get the complete Zombie collection … does having the set complete give a prize?

If so, then shelling out 24 donuts might actually be less costly as it seems, as we might get donuts as a prize for completing the set?!?

    cheers.

    • Unfortunately, set completion reward is only a cash/XP pay out. While they’re both great rewards…hardly worth the 24 donuts that are required to buy the two premium zombies, at least in my opinion. 🙂

      • Thanks … yes, that isn’t worth it … I only have The Simpsons set complete and couldn’t remember what I got 🙂
I have to spend my donuts wisely as I’m a freemium player. 🙂

        Cheers.

        • Absolutely! Heck I purchase donuts and still spend them very very carefully! Have to watch out for those “donut traps” EA sets sometimes! Happy GOOing 🙂
