Kang and Kodos are two additions to Springfield this Halloween, although Kang was first introduced last Halloween (2012). After you complete the Ultra House 2 Quest Line you’re given the opportunity to purchase the Ray Gun and shoot down Kodos (it will cost you 120 donuts, BUT you get Kodos AND a Ray Gun AND a Crashed UFO). Kang on the other hand is free this year! After you’ve unlocked the Victorian Space Ship Kang will appear in your Springfield!
Two new characters, although both aliens, with two completely different walkthroughs. Let’s take a look at what happens when you unlock Kodos and Kang…we’ll start with the walkthrough for Kang (since he is free)…note: if you already have Kang from 2012 Halloween Event he will not unlock a second time. You will only get the Victorian Space Ship, no additional quests for Kang.

Now let’s take a look at the dialogue that appears after you’ve built the Ultrahouse and purchase the Ray Gun to unlock Kodos in your town.

for some reason before after i got the victorian ufo and be fore i got the ultrahouse i got the dialouge and now kodos is circing the sky wat should i do
If you want Kodos, buy the ray gun and shoot that sucker… otherwise she’ll just circle until Nov 6th and then return to Rigel V possibly never to return.
What a rip off. I thought purchasing the ray gun would I would be able to shoot the beacon down unlimitless times!!!!!
It would have been a cool idea indeed. Constant battle to shoot it down. For me, I just wanted both aliens…so I sucked it up and bought the ray gun.
I don’t have 150 donuts and refuse to buy them. Any way of getting more? Or possibly slipping this?
Other than all the free donuts possible in this update… There is no secret squirrel way to get 150 that is legal. I’ve gotten at least 22 free donuts so far this update so 159 is probably a very high mark.
I don’t have the doughnuts to get the ray gun I wish they would lower the price on this game & make it a lil easy for us to enjoy like for real!

I’ve finished “The Day Springfield Stood Still Pt. 4” but “Just the Two of Us” won’t start. There’s no prompt for it on Kang, and he’s just walking around doing nothing.
Any idea why that might be?
Did you already have Kang from last year? That happened on one of our games as well. We had Kang from last year so it didn’t auto start.
Sort of. I already had Kang, but didn’t get him legitimately. I thought maybe because I had cheated to get him, I missed out on a required quest, or something.
Fortunately, it’s not a required quest to progress any further in the game. 🙂

Try storing the Victorian spaceship in your inventory and then take it back out. Contact EA in the meantime.
So for just $15, you can complete this ONE quest and get ONE character. What a steal!!!!
Since the ray gun is a limited time item you can’t really put off Homers “Share a Romantic Evening with the Ultrahouse 2” for too long.
What if you don’t buy the ray gun? Will the flying saucer just fly around town forever?
It will fly around until Nov 7th and then it’s back to Rigel V for Kodos.
