Hey there Addicterinos! If you have been one of the unlucky few to be missing Homer or Lisa, check your game. Homie is back in my Springfield and I seriously hope that means he’s back for every one! As always, if your glitches aren’t fixed, we’re here to help as best we can and when push comes to shove, EA is an e-mail away. Thanks EA for finally freeing my favorite donut eater! I’m off to try and catch up with Halloween quests… Jebus knows I’m a little behind.

I’ve managed to keep honey and Lisa around, but Maude disappeared about a week ago when sent on a 24hr haunt. Others on the ea forms have reported this too. Luckily I pretty much finished the Halloween storyline before this happened. I’ve contacted ea support and am playing the waiting game now.

My Homer went missing two days ago and I am getting concerned because he disappeared as others began reporting their characters have returned. I wrote EA help, but have yet to hear back from them. I have tried signing out, restarting my iPad and logging back in and Homer is still no where to be found. Any suggestions or words of encouragement?
Contacting EA and just waiting…sorry. They are still working on it
After contacting EA by email and phone… They finally found my AWOL Homer after 12 days. Keep the faith. My furry fingers are crossed for ya!
Tapping like a mad man in a box! I shall be most irritated if I can not complete my noble quests. Hopefully you can finish what you started… off to tap!
I recieved messages about other Lisas & Homers returning “home” a good 16 hours before my Lisa did.
When I wrote to EA to say Lisa was back so they could close my case, they wrote that it will take some time for every player to get their characters back. So just hold on tight and update EA if you have any new information or if it has been over a week since you notified them of the issue.
Today I have noticed that my game crashes often (on all 4 accounts — mine & my daughter’s) so that usually means updates/server fixes.
EA really is on it — figuring out the error in the coding is the most work & tedious. Now that EA accomplished this it is just a matter of making the fix across all devices; not just Android & Apple, but each variation — iPhone 4, 4s & the new iPhone 5 are all different.
Another thing, my main account, librarychic1, with many 2D art was usually very slow to load and navigate. The speed has increased so it is not frustrating. that indicates to me that EA is covering more issues than just characters going missing.

I just suggest to contact EA just in case there are other issues creating the glitch or alternate devices effected that weren’t before. Always good they know what is going on with their users. The more info we give them, the more it helps, the faster they can isolate and correct. 🙂
My Homer just disappeared last night 🙁

Have you tried the log out, shut down and restart phone, log back in?
Thank you for your reply. I just tried logging out, restarting, logging in and Homer is still missing. Hopefully EA will fix the issue soon.
At this point…I would follow the steps to contact EA…because others with the glitch have been corrected now.

I’m sincerely hoping the return of my Homer and librarychic’s Lisa means fixes for every one. I didn’t get an update, he just appeared with an exclamation mark. FYI… His return also meant I had to redo the Strongman Homer stuff.

My Lisa is back safe & sound as of around midnight EST.
She is hard at work in the public library for 24 hours…..couldn’t be more content 🙂

I think your town may be more prone to glitches due to the fact that its so large with so much stuff in it. Whenever I visit you, it takes much longer to load than with other neighboreenos and it tends to give me a lag (i.e. screen getting hiccups) more often too. Its worth it though, just to take a look at your 2D. I especially like Duffman and the gremlin.
Lisa has been gone for ages. It’s making me consider deleting the game, but that would be a shame as got 700grand all I can buy and completely ranked. Now I can’t carry on and I am now going to miss out on the Halloween stuff cos of this. Not happy as got 2 accounts now to delete! Should lisa be back ASAP then will consider keeping it!
Don’t give up! I actually didn’t go on my game for a couple days before Homie’s reappearance. Have you contacted EA?

Woo hoo! Hopefully you have enough days to get everything. My advice is to concentrate on the main quest line first and don’t forget to do the ultra house 2 quest if you desire Kodos in your town.
