The Softer Side of Tough: Dolph

No change as of yet to the Halloween Event…but let’s switch gears.

Hi there again. You ready for me to Kram more gibberish down your ear holes? No? Too bad, I’m gonna do it anyway. 😛

Let’s see…we covered Jimbo and Shauna…so on to the next bully aka “toughie”. Ready? No? What do you mean you gotta pretend to work? I know you’re surfing the net while “working”. Boss is there? Sigh. Fine. Just make EVERYONE wait while you look busy.

Done now? FINALLY! Moving on. This addition of Bullies ‘R Us, I will be taking you for a lil stroll in the world of Dolph Starbeam. An interesting bully. More soft hearted. Smart. Inorite? A smart bully? Is there such a thing? Well, yah…have you SEEN a flame war in the forums? I digress.

Dolphin…hey…stop laughing…it’s his name. REALLY. Sigh. Dolphin “Dolph” Starbeam is the youngest of the bully group. He seems to be more in the background as the others kind of take charge of the situation.

Or…he is cowering and/or running away.

He is more recognizable by his long comb over to mainly one side hairdo. Of course, you gotta love his Chucks. Dolph can be seen throughout the series, he even appeared in the first season.

Though, his name wasn’t mention until much later on. Can you tell me what episode? He is rarely seen without Jimbo and/or Kearney.

As I mentioned in the post on Jimbo, there is a man that does resemble him and easily could be his father. Then we get to meet his “wonderful” mother Starla in “A Millhouse Divided” on a date with Millhouse’s Dad. She looks like a winner. Lol

As far as the game is concerned, Level 36 brought us the Noiseland Arcade and with it Dolph. You can see the walkthroughs part 1 here , part 2 here, and part 3 here.

After his walkthrough was complete, we were left with the following permanent tasks for him.

Dolph’s Tasks:

Task Length Payout Location
Shoplift 1hr $70, 17xp Kwik-E-Mart
Play “Dance Fever ’97” 2hrs $110, 27xp Noise Land Arcade
Spit in the Salad Bar 4hrs $175, 45xp Gulp ‘N Blow
Torment Classmates 8hrs $275, 70xp Springfield Elementary
Act Out Agression 12hrs $420, 100xp Outside (punching fist together, walking around angrily)
Loiter with an Adult Magazine 24hrs $600, 150xp Outside (Sitting on bench “reading” magazine)

I do get a giggle out of seeing him unfold the magazine like a typical teen boy, but I am really disappointed he didn’t have more things to do outside. The fist punching just isn’t that interesting to watch. Overall, his tasks seem pretty blah to me. Oh well, at least he was an easily obtained character. No donuts wasted.

So there yah have it. Another quick blurb on another game character. What do you think of him? Let me know in the comments below.
