In the meantime, I know you would like to get an idea of just how many gift cards you need to collect on a daily basis in order to hit the goal by the end of the event. Well look no further…TAAAA DAAAA…Calendar. Now you know just where you need to be before the event ends if you wish to collect all of the personal prizes.
UPDATE: EVENT EXTENDED TO JANUARY 14th. Here is your new target goals to hit by the end of each day in order to receive all the available Personal Prizes.
For those of you with lightning itchy fingers, there is MORE after you collected all the prizes. You can get a chance every 1000 extra Gift Cards collected AFTER the intial 30,000 to win Golden Coins to use on the Holiday Giveaway Wheel. Basically you will get one more Golden Coin added to your count to use on the Wheel for each 1000 extra you collect.
So that about does it for now. I will be breaking down all the ins n outs of the Holiday Prize Wheel in another post, just in case you were wondering CGuy 😛

Try the Origin desktop manager. I prefer using it to manage neighbors.

I like to use the Origin Desktop Manager myself, due to I can see if they are maxed on their friends list. It also seems easier to send, delete, and add requests from it.

Bunny not to be offensive but you’re gift card advent calendar is not very accurate as I’m at 27000 but what level are you in the game? I’m 32.
How do you mean “not accurate”?
The calendar was established in a way that the minimum amount each day is hit to create a successful event by the end. If you’re above and beyond the numbers, great. It helps those at a slower pace to stay on target. It helps people know where to be at least to get all prizes. I’m already done with collecting.
We’ll today’s the 31st and I’m at 28000 so I’m like 5000 above Happy New Year everyone at TSTO Addicts!!!!!!!!

I have 100 friends. Within 1 week I went from 10,000 to 31,000 cards by visiting all towns, collecting gifts, and continually sending the town on “Hunt for Simpsons” task.
I would highly suggest maxing out your friends. You earn so much quicker with those extra helping hands.
If you can’t send them to hunt for simpsons, send anyone with card collecting tasks on the shortest ones over and over. Visit you town daily as the game replenishes 1 gift every 12 minutes up to 60 total. It is still possible, but you’ll have to work for it.

Our calender shows you need to be at 22220 gift cards to be on track. You only need 4K more for the final prize. Visiting each of your 25 neighbors every day for one week will earn you 5250 cards (750 a day). That and you earning the other cards from presents and gift cards, I’d say you’re set!

I got about 38k gift cards but now i don’t get any more golden coins. is it a glitch? Anyone else who got that problem?
Hmmm this is the first I’m hearing of it. Is the golden coin still on your task bar? What count is it showing?
