Level 38 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So Tuesday (1/14) required us to put our shades back on when we visit Springfield, but we were all still a bit disappointed that there was no new content in that update.  Well Lo and Behold Thursday (1/16) rolls around and BAM update city!  And what better way to welcome in a new Level than a Level 38 Conform-O-Meter post?

With the release of Level 38 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so I want to make sure I get this information out to my favorite Addicts!  Now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

The Level 38 update has introduced 2 new buildings, 2 new characters, 3 new decorations, 1 food cart & all new point amounts required to reach a 5-Star Springfield.  At Level 38 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter:

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
38     470      290       262/286
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
20,575/32,120          173     1,626

As you can see, Level 38 has increased the requirements across the board.  The Indolence Rating requirement has increased+10 (1 more house), the Obedience Rating requirement has changed by +20, Consumerism Rating requirement has changed by +10, the Tree-Hugging Rating requirement has changed by +1,250, the Vanity Rating requirement has changed by +1,750, the Righteousness Rating requirement has changed by +8 and the Socialism Rating requirement has changed by +96.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering, ‘How will the new buildings/decorations help me max out?’  Well, here’s how:

Item Cost Category Points
Springfield County Court House $319,500 Obedience 10
Springfield Grocery Store $261,000 Consumerism 10
Lady Justice Statue $4,500 Obedience 10
Khlav Kalash Stand $760 Gluttony 10
Green Peace Boat $1,300 Tree-Hugging 200
Knight Boat 40 Donuts Vanity 400

Super excited they’ve added another building for Consumerism back into the game, especially after all of the ones they added over Christmas!  Now it should be a lot easier to uniquely max out your Conform-O-Meter….rather than having 25 Kwik-E-Marts in your town!

Let us know how your Conform-O-Meter rating is doing!  Are you maxed out?  If not, what area currently needs a boost?

  1. I am level 38 play everyday please add me kcoll88

I’ve found if you visit “Other Springfield” any time, Sideshow Bob is there. Always. And if you tap him, say, 5-10 times, your righteousness and obediance go up. Just do this until you have 5 stars.

    • Ivanbezdomnyscat

      He’s usually by Squidport

      • That seems to be his standard place to appear. In my B game…he appears on the OPPOSITE side. Almost straight across from where he does on Squidport side. Lol.

I just stick to my training walls all around town. Always stay at 5 stars on Righteous. 😉

  3. I’ve noticed if you send your criminals to prison regularly it maxes out your righteousness rating. No need to buy extra stuff!

  4. i’ve got a pretty solid 4.5 star rating. i’m guessing at this point i can’t get it any higher without more premium content but i’m good where i’m at if that’s true. i do have one policy in building my town.. no gluttony.. not the rating but stashing tons of useless copies of junk. i saw a town with like 50 stop signs lined up like a field of corn among other users that do the same thing with other objects. i like my town to look like a legit place due to my o.c.d. nature lol

    • It is up to you just how many multiples of items you want in your town. If that extra multiplier % is really worth it to you when you are cashing out on your tasks and buildings. That is why many people hide items behind buildings. To give them the extra without ever having to see it.

  5. How do you know what buildings affect what and how many points each building gives you in the Conform-o-meter ratings? I need 1 more star in Obedience. And 1.5 stars in both Consumerism and Gluttony. (wish that billboard would’ve stayed a little longer for 30 donuts – bummer) Thanks.

  6. Ever since Xmas when I was a 5 star I’m suddenly a 4.5 star due to the stop crimes and graffiti one…whatever it’s called dropped to a 1 star for some reason any ideas why and how to get back to 5?

    • Training walls. They’re a Righteousness Rating’s best friend! Add lots of them (i like to hide them behind the Springfield sign) to quickly get your rating back up! 🙂

      • THANKS Alissa bought 20 of em got back to a 5 star town…got a 5 star krusty land too…now to take time and rearrange everything…wish they would have left the Indian casino and submarine on a bit longer…that’s only thing I’m missing in the game

  7. The Conform_O_Meter

I am at a strong 4 now and it really doesn’t matter much to me if I get to 5 at all.

  8. I’m still working on consumerism but I got gluttony maxed out with a chain of khalv kalash stands! They’re small enough to hide behind buildings so my town still looks nice even!

    • Yay for Gluttony max out! Consumerism is one of the hardest to max out while still being original. Took me a long time to hit 5 stars because I just couldn’t see Springfield needing more than 2 Kwik-E-Marts or Squidport needing more than 2 Ferris wheels. So I honestly didn’t max out out until Christmas (so many of the items impacted Consumerism it was great!)
