Level 38 is here (woohoo!) and EA decided to go all legal on us and rolled out the much anticipated Blue-Haired Lawyer. And with the little Devil Wears Blue quest preview tease we all got, you may be asking “Should I Spend Donuts On THIS?” Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding this Legal Eagle to your Springfield.
Character: Blue-Haired Lawyer
Donut Price: 90 donuts
Pros:
-Reasonably priced. At 90 donuts he’s not the cheapest character in the game BUT he’s the same price as Dr. Nick & within 5 donuts of The Rich Texan and Arnie Pye
-Premium tasks that earn 50% more than regular characters
-Voiced
-Comes with a quest line, that’s 10 parts (so it will take you a little while to complete)
-Has a few outdoor tasks
–Unlocks at Level 1 so if you’re a new Tapper this is a great character to add to your game to help you earn more money. This has since been changed, he now unlocks at Level 35
-Unlocks a hilarious new 16-hr task for Mr. Burns (Blue-Haired Lawyer Dino Ride)
-Another Blue-Haired Character to add to your game
Cons:
– Doesn’t come with a building.
-At 90 donuts he’s at the higher end of the premium characters that doesn’t come with a building.
-After his quest line he has no other interactions with other characters in Springfield.
Final Thought:
Personally I purchased the BLH, but i’m a bit of a completest. I enjoyed his questline and the “slip-n-fall” mentality. And I like adding different characters to the game, I really felt like Springfield could use a lawyer to help defend against Wiggum’s crazy arrest record!
However, if your donut budget is limited you might want to hold off on this purchase. BLH is not Limited-Time and will be in TSTO until the game is over, so there is no rush. If you’re thinking about saving your donuts, for now, in anticipation of a Valentine’s Day Event (and those Limited-Time items) that might be your best bet.

It’s best to try and get him from a mystery box as he randomly drops and I think 6 donuts on chance it better than full cost

U can also get mystery boxes at any level which can unlock him, I got him at level 2
Just for the record, Kearney, Squeaky Voice Teen and Blue Haired Lawyer can all be earned for free from the Revised Mystery Box, which pops up periodically as a prize for completing Daily Challenges. Bottom line: don’t spend donuts – you’re probably going to get them for free eventually anyway.

I think this post should be updated to reflect the fact that the blue haired lawyer can be obtained through the mystery box which costs 6 donuts. However, I am wondering if this is why there was no quest line when I obtained him this way.

The facts are the same, but the final thought should be updated (for every character that is free through the mystery box). You wrote something to temporarily saving donuts or regarding valentines day. Both is outdated.
Oh well. Honestly with everything going on in the game, plus my own life I don’t have the time (or desire) to go back to old posts and update them. Generally people can draw their own conclusions…

I got him that way too. I’m glad to have him, the only premium character that I’ve bought has been Frink. I’m saving my donuts for Barney.
I’ve won BHL in both my A and B games within a week through the daily play reward Mystery Box. Very cool.
Sorry everyone I was wrong, Kearny is only 60 donuts originally. But hey, 6 donuts is still better than 60 right. Anybody get any other cool characters from these new mystery boxes? Is there an updated list as to what new characters you can win from the new boxes? Or a list of all the new things that can be won from the boxes. If so someone please tell me where to find the list, thanks in advance. And again, happy tapping.
Glad I waited to buy the blue haired lawyer, now with the new updated mystery boxes I won him for a little old 6 donuts instead of the 90 that he originally cost. I also waited to buy Kearny who I also won with the new mystery box, not sure how much he was but I think it was between 90-120 donuts though I could be wrong. I’m totally loving the new mystery box, the pay-outs are way better than they were before the updated new box. Anyone else have good luck with this new mystery box as well? Happy tapping everyone 😝.

I have to say he has some pretty uninspiring tasks.
That’s basically why I’m not getting him (at least for now) — his tasks are almost all too generic.
Yep, only disappointing thing for me – 4 of the 6 tasks are generic that a lot of other characters have. However, it is a minor grumble – he’s a voiced character who is quite reasonably priced and I’m having fun with the level quests. Definitely more thumbs up than thumbs down.
