Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just a quick note to let you all know how THRILLED Bunny, Wookiee and I are to FINALLY be settled into our new “home” (dedicated server) for Addicts. It’s been an interesting 4 days…to say the least…that involved readers seeing various versions of Addicts and our site being down for a short period of time. But thanks to an awesome Tapper at our new server company (who understood the importance of making sure Addicts was back up ASAP) we now have everything resolved. And I gained a new neighboreeno in the process! (thanks for your help again Neighbor! 🙂 )
We’re working hard with all of the new plugins to make sure Addicts looks exactly as it did before…AND we’ve worked hard to port all of your comments over from the old site. Because after all YOU guys are what make this site as awesome as it is!
Now that Addicts is settled…Bring on Valentine’s Day!!

Yup…could mean something’s coming 🙂 But as of right now there’s nothing new in the files to indicate any kind of update (spoilers or otherwise). As soon as we know something we’ll update you 🙂

I couldn’t get on the site this morning and I actually felt a twinge of panic! Didn’t realize just how important this site is to me. Thanks for everything you guys do and congratulations on your new home on your own servers.

The site runs so much smoother now! Do you guys take donations towards the site? I looked everywhere but couldn’t find anything asking for them, but FYI, I’d be happy to donate some money to the site for all that I get out of it.
🙂 Glad you’re noticing the difference! Thank you, but (as weird as this sounds) we do not accept donations. Our policy is (and has always been) we will not ask our readers to pay for this site. It’s a labor of love for Bunny, Wookiee and I. We do run ads on the site (although since the server switch they’re temporarily down) and those ads help us pay to keep the site going and the contests. 100% of everything we earn goes right back into the site. So as long as you guys don’t mind the ads on the side bar from time to time…we’ll never ask for a dime from our readers. 🙂 Our reward is just knowing you guys keep coming back and love the site as much as we do. Besides we’d rather see you spend your hard earned money on donuts 😉

That’s funny because we did have Super Bowl tie-in posts (a lot of them actually)…wonder if there was a problem with the email system as well. The important thing is everything is up and running properly…thank goodness! And we’re THRILLED to be back as well! 🙂
I thought perhaps you, Bunny and Wookie were holding each other in some sort of Mexican standoff , like a scene from a Tarantino movie, but this morning after several days of nothing I received about a dozen notifications in my inbox.
That would be an EPIC standoff. We should really write down some of our conversations we have though, they’d make for one heck of a comedy movie.
