Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Love is in the air and we FINALLY have something new to write about! Woo-hoo new content!!! So with out further ado let’s breakdown the ins and outs of the Valentine’s Day update basics shall we?

Oh and 1 more thing…so i guess you should keep reading huh? The wheel will start AFTER you’ve completed the first quest (takes 24hrs).
So what everyone wants to know about is the wheel. “How Do I Get to Spin the Wheel?!” Well it starts with the first part after the Cards are Read, Marge’s Hair is Blue quest. Here’s the dialogue that Auto-starts between Homer and Lisa:

Lisa Auto Start
Lisa: You know, Dad. Valentine’s Day is coming up. Perhaps this year you could do something romantic for Mom.
Homer: What are you talking about? My Valentine’s gifts are always romantic.
Lisa: There’s nothing romantic about sweatpants with the word “Juicy” on the butt.
Homer: It’s sexy! Tons of off-duty starlets wear them.
Lisa: Not with “Juicy” written in marker pen.
Homer: But women like handmade gifts!
Lisa: No, that’s just something we say.
Homer: Fine, I’ll stop by Cletus’s farm and get her some roses.
Lisa: gasp You’re buying from a local farmer? My browbeating paid off! Just when I thought I was coming off as strident, you’ve encouraged me to hector more than ever.
Homer: Yippee.
Reach Level 6 and Build Cletus’s Farm
Harvest Valentine’s Roses- 24hrs, Costs $1,000, Rewards 50 hearts, 100xp
Homer: Okay, I got roses. Valentine’s gift…done!
Lisa: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Roses are just an accompaniment. They’re like a side dish. You still need to get something big, like jewelry or a weekend get-away, as the entree.
Homer: Great, now I have to go shopping. And dining. Your analogy made me hungry.

Krusty starts
Krusty: Hey hey. It’s Valentine’s Day! Your change to tell that special someone in your life…and all the unknown weirdos you friended to get your numbers up…that you acknowledge their existence – in order to get free stuff on a phone game! And here’s something totally new – The “Wheel of Friendship!”
Homer: Wait, isn’t that the same wheel you put out for Christmas?
Krusty: No, that wheel was totally rigged. This one is only a little bit rigged. Also, it’s pink!
Homer: Just like the thousands of donuts I intend to burn through buying spins for it.
Spin the Wheel of Friendship- Cost is 200 hearts
Krusty: Great spinning! You are one step closer to getting the Tunnel of Love ride in Krustyland.
Marge: I usually don’t like theme parks because they’re loud and their rides are whiplashy, but I might actually go to Krustyland if it had a Tunnel of Love!
Krusty: And isn’t that what we’re all looking for? The female demographic! Get to work! Get that Tunnel of Love! Get chicks to come to Krustyland!
Wait a minute?! More females?! Is EA reading Addicts?! Are they checking our our Housewives of Springfield posts?! Ooooo I’m liking it!

Trying to figure out why I can give valentine cards to only some of my neighbours and not others. It says I have 3 actions for neighbours and when I load their Springfield, there’s no cards over their heads.. Can anyone help me ?
It’s possible that all of their characters have already received cards and they haven’t collected on them yet. Check out this post for more details 🙂

When I visit friends it says click on characters to send them valentine cards but when I do nothing happens, what am I doing wrong?
The characters you’re clicking on have cards floating over their heads right?
Hi there! I’ve gotten every item on the Wheel of Friendship, and no Tunnel of Love! Is there something else I need to do? Thanks!
Hmmmm odd, and all of the hearts have gone from white to red on the wheel? And each item has an arrow from Bart cupid through it?
Wierd, 4 of the items don’t have red hearts/arrows; the Fountain of Love, the Lovely Flower Cart, & the Lovely Lampost (I have 1 of each), as well as the Cherub Bird Bath (I have 3). /=
Hmmmm, that is very odd. Take some screen shots of your wheel and all the items you have from it. I would suggest trying the basic troubleshooting to see if that will trigger it to refresh. Basically, put all the VD items from the wheel into your storage, log out, shut down and restart your device, once back up log back in. Then replace all the VD items. Check the wheel again to see if this helped. If not, contact EA with the issue.
It won’t let me collect my daily actions in my friends Springfield what do I do ???
A lot of actions have been suspended for Valentine’s Day, so you can collect hearts. But the hearts are on a sliding scale for number you can collect. Have you checked out this post?
All my vday items are highlighted in green (like when your moving items around).. even the farm after I harvested roses turned green and now I cant plant anymore 🙁 can anyone help me?!
I heard of this from another Addict. If the basic troubleshooting doesn’t help, then I would suggest to contact EA right away as it is effecting game play.
Still cant use my farm, vday items highlighted, and some characters wont do what I tell them.. very frustrated please help. Did all the troubleshooting.
Have you contacted EA? Sorry, but at this time that is the only thing I can suggest. Others have the same issue and EA is working to help them fix it too.
Why does it say I can get Abe Lincoln for 150 donuts? He hasn’t appeared on my inventory yet. Is this a typo? I kinda wanted Abe!!
He’ll be available 16-18 Feb as a bonus for the US President’s Day Holiday.
Why can’t I place the beach chair?? No matter where I go on the map I cannot place it? Anyone else have similar problems?
You have to have purchased a block of the land by the ocean (Level 15). The chair can be placed on the sand aka beach. Hope that answers your question.
