We’ve been seeing a TON of comments about “what happens next”, so now that the update is 24hrs old, and most of you should have your Rosebush complete, we figured it’s a good time to Turbo Tap Valentine’s Day!
For those of you who don’t know Turbo Tappin’ is our quick version of a walkthrough for the Level/Update/Character where we give you who starts the quest, the task and what you earn. This way you have your quick guide on who to keep free and when. This is great for our fellow Addicts who love to copy and paste the walkthrough into their device for quick reference. Now on with Valentine’s Day! As I mentioned in the initial update post the main quest is called Cards and Read, Marge’s Hair is Blue, but there are some mini quests that pop-up throughout as well. We’ll cover those here as well. The Event kicks off with some dialogue between Homer and Lisa (that should auto-start for you). So let’s get to Turbo Tappin’ shall we?
Note: Some of the side quests outside of Cards Are Read…may appear to you in a different order. However, the Where’s the Love? quest must appear in order to progress to Part 3 of Cards are Read.
Cards Are Read, Marge’s Hair is Blue Pt. 1
Auto-started
Reach Level 6 and Build Cletus’ Farm
Harvest Valentine’s Roses– 24hrs, Earns 50 Hearts & 100XP. Will cost you $1,000.
Goal Complete! Reward: 200 Hearts, 10xp
NOTE: After you’ve completed this, Valentine’s Day will start in your SF and you’ll unlock the decorations in your store. They will not unlock prior to the completion of Part 1.

Krusty starts
Spin the Wheel of Friendship– Costs 200 Hearts (each spin)
Goal Complete! Reward: 50 Hearts, 10xp (and a wheel prize)
Where’s the Love?
Homer starts
Visit Friends and Send Valentine’s– x3, see Hearts Rundown Post for details
Goal Complete! Reward: 200 Hearts, 10xp

Make Ned Sing a Valentine’s Ditty– 6hrs, Earns 10 Hearts & 50xp
Goal Complete! Reward: 50 Hearts, 10xp

Harvest Valentine’s Roses- x3, 24hrs, Earns 50 Hearts & 100XP. Will cost you $1,000.
Place Valentine’s Roses from Storage
This will remain a side quest for you. You can still progress through the main one with out finishing this quest.

Build Madame Chao’s– 24 hr build, Costs $2,500 (will unlock Mindy, Earns $200 & 20xp every 12hrs)

Reach Level 11 and Build the Control Building
Make Homer Work a Plant Shift- 16hrs, Earns $500, 125xp

Lisa starts
Make Homer Go on a Valentine’s Date with Marge– 8hrs, Earns 20 Hearts & 125xp
Goal Complete! Reward: 200 Hearts, 10xp
And with that the main Valentine’s Day quest is complete! All in all just completing the main quest should earn you 1,105 Hearts (Real total is 1,305 Hearts but I’m deducting 200 hearts here for the completion of Part 2..since it will cost you 200 Hearts) or 5 spins (6 if you count the required spin for Part 2). Not to shabby!

I can’t collect from my characters ever since I completed your newest update. I was able to do the 6 s job for Homer and Moe. Started Homer on his quest inside the newest challenge and now, I can collect my buildings, but everytime I try to collect a character, the game shuts down. Reopen it, same thing.
Any update on a way to finish this quest? No way to send homer to buy champagne
I know this must be beyond old af, but I got all the way to buy a beach chair but cand make Homer go buy champagne now to continue this quest. I put off this questlline to keep up with the current events. Any suggestions past the usual “close out the game and re-open”, restart your phone, uninstall the game and reinstall? All seems to not work in progression nor just dropping the quest and moving past.
Still an issue for me. I keep trying it every once and a while but it doesn’t work 🙁
I am stuck on this quest line at the moment. At Much Ado About Mindy Pt. 4 I have the beach chair and have sent Mindy to work on her tan, but I have no option to send Homer to buy Champagne. It tells me I have to do it, but when I tap ‘Do it’ the task is not there for Homer. Am I missing a necessary building or something? Thanks.
I was wondering the same thing because I am stuck on it also.
Perhaps it’s a glitch then. I shall contact EA and see what they have to say.
I have contacted EA and they have told me it’s a glitch about which they can do nothing. They told me to wait because they have people working on it.

Same here. None of the resetting/uninstall tricks work. We need to wait for their patch.
Ditto. I have tried everything to no avail. It’s a glitch. I hope that they actually fix it before I need Homer for the next event.
