Valentine’s Day has arrived in Springfield! But, with all of the new Valentine’s premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Up, Up and Buffet! to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this restaurant to your Springfield.
Building: Up, Up And Buffet!
Donut Price: 90 donuts
Dimensions: 12×11
Payout: $800, 80xp/2days
Conform-O-Meter: Gluttony +10
Pros:
-Uniquely Designed Building for Springfield (We’ve got cars, boats & planes…now we need a train!)
-Decent Payout for A Building
-Finally a building Characters will use! It unlocks a special 10hr task for Skinner, Willy, Comic Book Guy, Squeaky Voiced Teen, Duffman & Bumblebeeman. Premium characters earn $530, 135xp, non-premium earn $350, 90xp.
-Reasonably priced compared to the Museum of Natural History…which doesn’t get used.
Cons:
-No characters or questline associated with it.
-Large building, will require a lot of space in Springfield. Difficult if yours is already cramped.
-Takes 2 days to generate income.
Final Thought:
Personally, if you’re a premium player, this one is a must get in my opinion. It’s a really neat looking building and adds character to your Springfield. Plus, it gets used! Unlike SO many buildings we purchase in TSTO that just sit empty…Up, Up and Buffet! will be used by not 1, not 2 but 6 characters! And they’ll use it for 10hrs, which is my favorite amount of task time!
Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME building and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before the event is over if you’re thinking about it.

Got it in the mystery box
Had it in my inventory as it had no use in my springfield
It really looked out of place
But with the new airport set up from the latest event I’ve placed it
With the airport as an airport restaurant
I have moved all my flying machines to the airport, where I have formed a aero plane museum,
The only one left in the mystery box im guessing it is worth 60
I’ve been waiting and waiting for this to come back, I didn’t know which event it was associated with so when I saw it today I was so excited! I don’t think I’ve ever pressed the buy button quicker. lol
I’ve been thinking about this and I’ve decided last minute that I am getting it.. I loved seeing it in other people’s towns too much not to buy

After buying and selling 200 Bloodmobiles I had enough donuts to buy the UP UP and Buffet. I really like it. In my hometown is an aiportmuseum wicht Will inspire me to make it more realistic.

I love it! When they eat in there it lights up on the tarmac and the neon sign.
I believe Brandine, Shauna, The Buffet, Howard’s Flowers, and PQBs are must haves! I skipped the sub and I’m glad I did because this was a premium bonanza! They are all so awesome, and I’ve wanted PQBs, Howard’s Flowers, and Shauna since I started playing way back! Brandine and the Buffet are extra awesomeness! I love this game!
I bought it but I do hope that they’ll eventually increase payout for non-premium characters along the line that e.g. Aztec Theater pays more for Bart’s 3h task than his regular 4h task and Swanky Fish’s 5h task yields more than the 8h task for the three guys who can dine there.
I agree with this completely.
I do too. It seems to me that a non-premium character interacting with a premium building should pay premium rates (like Kirk does when he runs the Cracker Factory) and a premium character interacting with a premium building should pay a double premium. For me, that would make this worth buying.
I bought it, love airplanes in general so I couldn’t resist.. Very useful building. I also love the 10hr task time. 🙂

It getting used it awesome! I definitely bought it, I actually used V-day 2014 as an excuse to create myself to a whole bunch of premium content, including all V-day 2014 items 🙂 now I am happy.
I did skip the whale this time around. I believe it is a permanent item so I thought i would wait. I went with SP Ferris Wheel and Planet Hype instead.
What does everyone else think?
Oh MAN! I should have gotten this one. I spent 300 doughnuts on the WHALE (it promises 7% bonuses on money and XP) … and I am really not sure if it’s paying out right. I hope so! It’s one of my first premiums. Go big or go home, eh? 😉
I bought it. Didn’t know it was a limited time offer or that characters would use it. So I’m glad I have it. Stuck it out of the way in a corner, far from my residential area. ‘Cause that’s where airports are located, right?
