Valentine’s Day has arrived in Springfield! But, with all of the new Valentine’s premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Shauna to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this Tough Girl to your Springfield.

-Old Character making a return! Woo-hoo for bringing back old items!!
-ANOTHER Female added into your Springfield
-Comes with tasks, hence more in game cash to earn
-Who doesn’t want a Bad Girl?
Cons:
-Limited Time.
-Costs a lil more than other Toughie Kearney who has tasks and bonus
Final Thought:
I am most DEFINITELY buying her for both my A and B games. I am an Adroid user and was unable to get all the VD goodies from last year. SHE is the one I coveted the most. She has tasks that pay out at a great rate, not to mention quite amusing. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing her for your town.
Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME character and once she’s gone, she’s gone…so be sure to get her before the event is over if you’re thinking about it.

In addition to the tasks shown, Shauna has some additional permanent tasks that have been added since she was originally offered.
1 hour – Cyber Bully Other teens – Pays $105 / 26 XP
2 hours – Catch A Movie – Pays $175 / 40 XP
4 hours – Try On Tube Tops – Pays $260 / 70 XP
I believe the 2 hour Catch A Movie task was added either when the Google Plex Theater was added, or when the Big T Movie Theater was added. All of the “kids” gained that 2 hour task.
Not sure how, but I’ve got a regular (non-Halloween) 4hr task for Shauna. I think it’s called “Try on tube tops”.
Does she ever get used during events to earn event currency, like trick or treating and whatnot?
Trick or treating, yes.
Come on EA! Please re-sell her! One of my favorite characters after I saw the episode (one where she dates Bart and Jimbo tries killing him). Hope she returns once again!

I purchased Shauna during the Gil deals and after completing part four of her quest line, I could not advance in it. I was not able to collect from the job either so it just says that the tasks are done. I tried hard resetting the game but nothing happened. Do I need to contact EA to fix this problem? Thanks for your help.
I would contact them tomorrow (after 9am EDT) and see if they can resolve it
This happened to me too. Other than completing the storyline what am I missing by not calling EA?

I was able to collect on the quest but part five has not started. All my characters are available so I don’t know what I am missing. I guess I will contact EA tomorrow if nothing happens between now and then. Thanks Alissa for informing of the time.
I tried to buy her, but there’s some kind of glitch and she didn’t appear, so now I’ve paid 3 times for nothing. I’m waiting for EA chat support… how long should that take to load? Any ideas?

I’ll be getting her…she shares my name (although she spells her name wrong ;)) I love her character on the show, and she’s cheap! Can’t wait!

Shauna – yes! Was hoping she’d come back.
Brandine – yes! Awesome, I even got her for my 2nd springfield I swore I wouldn’t spend any real $$ on. (shh) Her machine gun/camo thing cracks me up.(the little spuckler spawn made me do it!) Standing beside Shauna teasing the ducks is even funnier…if a tad twisted.
Howard’s flowers – I wasn’t going to… but I wanted somewhere to put all the balloons I got and it’s pretty. And adds to consumerism, which I’m lacking.
Up, Up and Buffet! – Yes! Very cool and right next to the prison. HA! I’m pretty sure they’re planning something… should be interesting.
Whale – 300 donuts. 20$!?! Nope! No way… nuh uh I won’t do it.
Ice cream parlor – nah, I spent enough already lol

Only a limited time item if EA decides not to bring her back! The skins are the ones that seem to not come back. I’d love to get my tapping finger on Mayan Homer, Moe’s suit and a few others I missed when I wasn’t playing. Also hoping for Tom Flanagan to come back for St. Patty’s day this year (another one I missed out on). 🙁

I think they’ll bring back the pub because they’ve brought back all the V Day stuff and it seems more people who didn’t know about the game last year are playing now…the first year stuff should all be reoffered as many did not know about the game. With the popularity at an all time high they will most likely bring back premiums that were available in the first year.
I’m just speculating, though…

I agree with Link…there’s no 1 hr task, so it is hard to keep her with the others…but she is so cute!
BTW, I finished Brandines quest line so she’s working on her first Spuckler now! 90 days! Seems like an eternity! I’m so tempted to speed her up, but don’t have donuts to spend willy-nilly. I guess we will just have to see! (I’ve seen your Spucklings in your town: they’re so cute!)
They’re interesting to watch wander. Wish they did more. The $$$ hover when they’re ready to collect.
These last couple days I keep seeing her and realizing how long 90 days actually is when you play a game practically every hour!

Shauna was my first premium purchase when I started playing at the tail end of last years Valentine’s event. Her tease the ducks animation is one of my favorites.

Con: she has an awkward range of times for tasks. No 1hr or 4hr tasks, so may be hard to keep in sync with other characters. :-s

If you have her wear her Halloween costume, she has a four hour task.
