Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well today is President’s Day here in the USA and in honor of it EA has brought back Abe Lincoln from the 4th of July Event. For 150 Donuts Honest Abe & his cabin could be yours (hurry he’ll be gone by 3am EST on 2/18). But this isn’t a Should I Buy post, instead this is about what happens after you’ve added Abe to your town.
Once you’ve purchased this President a 10 part humorous quest will unlock for you. So I figured today would be a good time to Turbo Tap Abe!

Let’s see, I used to have some…where is that barrel of ky???
Due to a rollback glitch I got some donuts and was finally able to purchase Lincoln!!! Yeah. I didn’t have enough the first time he was out and I really wanted him! My husband is actually a descendent of Abraham Lincoln so I felt I HAD to have him in my game!!!! Yippie!!
Well now that’s pretty cool! And a sweet purchase with some free donuts…although you did have to suffer with your game being down to get them 🙁

…well ain’t that just what a bull leaves in the field…
Waaaay back during Halloween I had around 120 donuts and was stuck between getting the haunted house or the cemetery…on the last day I decided against both opting to wait and see what came for the Christmas event…I was let down however wishing I had gotten one of the two…I think the only donuts I spent were on the trashcan fire.
Then I had to get the sub …oh the stories I can’t tell of the two years I spent under the sea…but that put me back to only about 80 donuts.
Now I have 120 and am torn between either the schoolbus or the movie set…
I want Abe and everything else…I just don’t have a donut tree…there’s a mini-event for St.Patrick’s Day, right???…I want a leprechaun, too!!!
How much was he?
The Leprechaun came with the purchase of the Wishing Well for 150 donuts. Pricey but every time you tap the lil guy he gives out money and XP. I hope he comes back but think his price tag would probably be the same.
I like the bus. Fun to decorate with and it comes with Otto, so tasks involved. 😉
Yeah I figure it to be the better value…how did I ever become concerned over buying pixels with other pixels??? Anyone ever discuss the idea of a fractional money system…say, with lower and higher value donuts? Plain glazed donut is a dollar, frosted/sprinkled donut is three or five bucks and maybe a pizza or applepie is ten bucks…
…that and lowering their prices…
