Springfield Showoff Reminder: 2D LETTERING

Just a reminder…I want 2D lettering for Showoff tomorrow. I want to see what you have spelled out or have written in your town. Bad words? (Well EA did hint they wanted us to spell something with those rose bushes. Try and keep it as close to PG as possible. Lol.) Announcing your love for a neighbor? Shout out to your fav blog? Show me what you got!! 😉

    This was my first attempt at doing this, I don’t think its as cool come of the others I`ve seen but its not bad for a first try. It`s a tribute to my favorite football team, The Saskatchewan Roughriders. That’s Canadian football for those who may not know (and are still trying to figure out how to pronounce Saskatchewan). Believe it or not but there is a connection to The Simpsons too. In season 3, episode 3 (When Flanders Failed) Homer decides to stay home rather than endure Ned`s BBQ. He is watching the Canadian football league draft on TV and the announcer mentions the Roughriders. There are a few other references to the Province of Saskatchewan through out the series. Season 10, episode (Wild Barts Can`t Be Broken) Bart mentions that the Springfield Isotopes are threatening to move to Moose Jaw. Yes, that is the name of a real city. Season 16, episode 6 (Midnight Rx) Homer goes to Canada with Apu and Ned to purchase Grampa’s medication. After giving Homer prescription drugs, the guy says that Homer has enough drugs to “make Regina (our capitol city and home of the Riders) look like Saskatoon (our largest city). And last but not least, Matt Groening`s father (Homer Groening) was born in Saskatchewan.

    Anyway, I hope I didn’t get too long winded but that is one of the many reasons that makes me a life long fan of The Simpsons and a TSTO addict.

    When I put up my G-rated, sixth grade message about a planet, no one laughed so I took it down…

    I was thinking of putting up “Listening to:” and then the artist/band/album I’m listening to…changing the artist ,etc. routinely.

        Worried about you not hearing from you lately with that storm looming over yonder…in case you didn’t see my post, my son was thrilled about what you did…we’re on kindles that don’t use flash so we couldn’t see the video you told about…hope you’ve had a better evening!!! 🙂

        I knew my “sign” was immature but Bunny and EA said to try and write some’em dirty with the VD stuff so I did…replaced it with a stache…

    Unrelated topic but has anyone else been having problems inviting neighbors? For two days now. I can accept but get an error when sending

      I run into this from time to time. I think it is either an issue with Origin, or the person is full up on 100 friends. This is why I use the Origin Desktop Manager. I can see how many friends they have and easily manage mine.
