How are you doing in your quest for free Doodads? Have you succeeded in unlocking the Singing Sirloin yet? Making good use of visiting your neighbors daily? In need of more Tapping Friends? So far we’ve already covered the first two Friendship prizes, so now let’s talk about the third prize, Snowball II. Snowball II is unlocked once you’ve unlocked the Singing Sirloin AND earn an additional 1,500FP…and many of you should be unlocking it at some point today or tomorrow (depending on how many friends you have). So what happens when you unlock this feline? What does it do? Well let’s take a closer look…
Once you’ve completed Friendship Level 2 and earned an additional 1,500 FP you’ll unlock Snowball II and you’ll see this message popup:
Once you return to your Springfield you can find Snowball II in your Inventory. There isn’t much to Snowball II. This feline is yet another NPC (Non-Playable Character) for your Springfield. Once you place her from your inventory you’ll see this unlock message:
If you tap on her she’ll cough up a hairball, but after that there isn’t much more to this feline. She’ll roam around your Springfield just like Santa’s Little Helper, but at least this Simpson pet won’t cost you precious donuts!
Now see we’ve got a little problem here at Addicts. Normally Bunny and/or Wookiee would cover the Where did THAT come from for a character. But when it comes to Snowball II…well Wookiee’s allergic to cats and Bunny well…..cats eat Bunnies! So it’s best to keep them both away from this character…for my own mental sanity. So I’m going to attempt a quick Where did THAT come from on Snowball II…bare with me, since it’s not my “normal thing”.
Snowball II first appeared on the Simpsons during the very first episode. Season 1, E1 Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire. The appearance takes place while Homer is going through the Christmas decorations and Marge is writing the family Christmas letter. She explains “First the sadness. Our little cat Snowball was unexpectedly run over and went to Kitty Heaven. But we bought a new little cat Snowball II. So I guess life goes on…”
Snowball II appeared in countless episodes of The Simpsons in-between her debut in Season 1 and her death in Season 15. Yes, that’s right the REAL Snowball II dies during Season 15 E9 I, (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot when she’s hit by Dr. Hibbert.
Lisa’s search for a new cat just continues to end in feline disaster. Snowball III drowns in the Simpsons fish tank, trying to catch dinner, and Snowball IV falls from the window after listening to John Coltrane music. Lisa beings to think she’s just not meant to have a cat. But then Crazy Cat Lady throws a cat at Lisa, that looks exactly like Snowball II.
When she tries to send the cat away (thinking she’ll just kill it) and the cat walks away and does NOT get hit by a car…Lisa thinks the cat is lucky. She decides to keep it and name is Snowball V, but they’ll just call her Snowball II to save money on a new bowl and avoid confusion. Plus now they can pretend the whole thing never happened!
Now I know I’m leaving out more memorable Snowball II moments, like when she pulled Homer from the burning tree-house…oh hey look I just mentioned it! 😉
Now that you’ve completed Level 3 it’s onto Level 4. What does that mean exactly? Well not only is it your chance to earn the coveted Simpson’s Car but you’ll also earn more Cash for the items you tap while visiting Neighbors. How much? You’ll earn $26/item tapped (so $26 x 3 items is $78 per neighbor). This is a $2 increase from Level 3.
Next up…you’ll need 2,000 FP to unlock Homer’s Car! I’ll be back tomorrow with the details!

Update from “Why me?!”
I am doing what will pretty much take forever. I only visit one town to get friend points—other springfield. That’s right! I’m an annonymous user of Tapped Out trying to get some fun. This has taken more than a year, but I am working to Snowball ll. Yep, I’m a freemium player too. I don’t have a single doughnut, which means I can’t and never will speed things up. Impressive? I’m going to try and do this until I get Homer’s Car, or do it longer and try to get up to Cool Lisa. I am going to try!
Goal 1: Unlock Olmec Head (completed)
Goal 2: Unlock Singing Sirloin
(completed)
Goal 3: Snowball ll + Homer’s Car

Unlocked singing sirloin but not in my inventory, it went straight to Snowball II …
Try logging out and restarting your device. When it powers back up, log back in and check your inventory cardboard box again. See if it’s there.
I found out how to get a puddy-tat outta a bunny….you just have to TAP dat bunny real good …at the right time…now I have snowballsII…it is cold outside, jeezzzz

I am confused I am lAte to unlocking the prizes because the update only let me get about 100 fp the first day so I just now unlocked the sizzling sirloin now this post states I should only need 1000 fp to unlock snowball 2 yet my games says I need 1500 to unlock snowball 2

I just finished watching season 4 (so many great episodes), so Snowball II saving Homer from the fire is probably one of my favorite Snowball II moments.

Omg, I just poke along getting one FP at a time…wish it would reset at a regular time everyday!!! My son keeps laughing at me cause his friends are cooperating with him, tapping his paintables and he just puts it down when he gets down to one FP per tap…mine, I swear they’re not resetting mine but every 36 hours and my neighbors are still thick headed…I’m hardly close to getting the 2nd prize…aaaaaarrrrrrgggg!!!!

Aaargh I hate it when my neighbors don’t vandalize me >:( as for the friend point reset, for me it always goes back up to ten per action once I visit Other Springfield (so essentially every 24 hours, I’m not sure if it does it once it’s ready to be visited or once you actually go there though because I always go there first)
I giggle at all of us WANTING vandals. Lol. It is the standard 24 hr reset. 😉
My favorite Snowball moment is when she wanted attention during the Two Dozen and One Greyhounds episode … one of the greyhounds stood up on the television and the family loves it … but when Snowball does it, “Get that cat out of the way!!” … lolz
