As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to.
So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. This weeks fun edition focuses on making words outta decorations. 2D Lettering if you will. Now what on earth sparked this one? (Other than my love for the art itself?) Well as I was hopping through tapping away, I stumbled upon a very simplistic but very cool design idea in one of my neighbors towns. Yes, I did geek out a lil bit too. 😉 Here is the design…
pinfobot613 …my newer neighbor created something quite cool out of a simple Phone Booth and Angel Hedges. I think the poor Doctor may be just a lil surrounded by the Weeping Angels. Whatever you do, DON’T BLINK!! (Send them after Flander’s kid instead. Lol.)
So I put it out there that I wanted to see MORE! And MORE you did give me. Here are the really awesome things you all sent in. I am VERY impressed!!

Ohsebhlen showed us more of their talents by creating several areas of 2D lettering around their town. From the very simplistic to more extravagant.
saramary3 showed us that we can’t forget to have a lil fun in Krustyland too. Some fun ideas using the scattered lettering and decorations there to make the place stand out a lil more.
cmarchia is trying to give Gil a permanent place to make some money. Those Gil Deals just don’t come around often enough.

carly …well…she wanted everyone to know just who’s town they were in. Great decorations all around too.
CGuy always wants to make tapping easy and quick for those wanting to hop in and out of his town. So he made a great section in his landing screen.
Freaknstein8 seems to have caught the 2D bug and dare I say…a lil Addicted?? YOU’RE WELCOME! He has been playing around and changing his lettering, at times, on a daily basis. Makes for great humor when you hop in n out of his town. Hey Freak, I mustache you a question. Lol

I have yet to figure out how to screen grab off my Kindle, but the very first 2D I created was in Flanders’ backyard, where I made a WWJD garden. and my latest, once I finally bagged the brewery, is a giant landscaped “Oh Yeah!”

Shout out to elfgirl2012!! She was the only one who used rose bushes in her 2D lettering and it turned out amazing!!! 😀
In fairness…they did take a day to make. So unless people used a LOT of donuts…they were in small supply and I know I use at LEAST 100 bushes to make a decent word.
But I was glad to see that someone was able to make something with them. Made me happy. 😉
