Friendship Level 4: Unlocking Homer’s Car

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers,

How are you doing in your quest for free Doodads?  Have you succeeded in unlocking Snowball II yet? If not don’t worry..you have plenty of time! Making good use of visiting your neighbors daily?  In need of more Tapping Friends?  Remember you can always find friends on our Add Friends Page (and here for ones who pledge not to vandalize you)…the best (and only way) to submit your Add Me requests on TSTO Addicts!

So we’ve now covered the first three Friendship prizes, so logically that means it’s not to talk about the fourth prize (and I think most coveted prize by Tappers everywhere), Homer’s Car!  Homer’s car is unlocked once you’ve unlocked Snowball II AND earn an additional 2,000FP…and many of you should be unlocking it at some point during the next 2 days (depending on how many friends you have).  So what happens when you unlock this highly coveted vehicle?  What does it do?  Well let’s take a closer look…

Homer Car

Once you’ve completed Friendship Level 3 and earned an additional 2,000 FP you’ll unlock Homer’s Car and you’ll see this message popup:
Level 4 Homer's Car

You can also unlock this via Donuts at a rush rate of 5.71 FP/donut.  So for every 5.71 friend points you need…it’ll cost you 1 donut.  So 350 donuts if you need all 2,000FP, 300 donuts if you need 1,713FP and so on.

Once you return to your Springfield you’ll find the car in your Inventory.  It’s a decoration for your Springfield that can be placed on the grass, pavement, beach  & boardwalk.  Basically anywhere BUT the road.  Ahhhh the restrictions of TSTO.  Anywho…it’s 5×3 in size so it’s not to difficult of a size to fit around your Springfield.

Once placed a little dialogue pops up from Homer, explaining his (and your) frustration in the car not appearing in TSTO until just now…and maybe a little explanation as to why it can’t go on the road just yet.

Homer: Well it took you long enough, all this walking can’t be good for my health.  Now, I just have to wait for my keys to unlock.

The car also has sound, no animation.  If you tap on it it will make well a car sound.  The sound of an engine revving.

And that’s about it on Homer’s car.  A pretty basic decoration, many of us have be requesting for as long as TSTO has been around.

Now that you’ve completed Level 4 it’s onto Level 5.  What does that mean exactly?  Well not only is it your chance to earn Stampy.  After all, who doesn’t want a giant elephant roaming around their Springfield?  Especially one that…carries Bart!  In addition to earning Stampy you’ll also earn more Cash  for the items you tap while visiting Neighbors.  How much?  You’ll earn $28/item tapped (so $28 x 3 items is $84 per neighbor).  This is a $2 increase from Level 4.

Next up…you’ll need 5,000 FP to unlock Stampy!  I’ll be back later this week with the details!

In the meantime…what do YOU think of Homer’s Car?  Have you unlocked it yet?  Did you earn it via FP or did you spend donuts to get it faster?  Were you excited they added it to the game (finally)?  Sound off in the comments below…you know we LOVE hearing from you!

    Thank you in advance!!!

  4. Yeah I only just got the singing sirloin about an hour ago. Now I have to wait for it to build. So far behind. =^(

  5. Yeah me!!! lol Finally achieved that hairball dropping Cat! I do hope everyone else has too! 🙂

  6. Hi Moderator, not to be a bit of a grammar nazi, but you have a but of a typo there.

” In addition to earning Stampy you’ll also earn more Cash for the items you tap while visiting Neighbors.”

I think you meant to say “earning homer’s car”, haha, sorry, just trying to help. 😀

    • Lol…I giggle at YOUR typo …”but” instead of “bit” (it’s funny when I try and correct someone but mess up myself while doing it too)…but needless to say…the information is NOT a typo. It is quite accurate. You benefit off of your neighbors multiplier level and as they tap through your town when they hit those higher and higher FP levels, it gives YOU more “CASH” and XP with their handshake tap. In some cases, a LOT more. It is quite a cool benefit of this new event. (Like for some Addicts Team, a $6 brown house earned $51 on a handshake from neighbor tap.)

Thanks for trying to help though. I appreciate our readers looking out for us in case we do miss something or type too fast and our words make no sense. ( I do this ALL the time.) 😉

  7. Ever so bummed I have to wait for the Singing Sirloin to build :/
