St. Patrick’s Day and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

St. Patrick’s Day has FINALLY arrived in Springfield!  And with all of the green water & beer comes new buildings and decorations as well as some returning ones.  So, before the beer gets warm let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the St. Patrick’s Day event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a new building, a new decoration & a returning building and decoration to our Springfield.  As well as a few changes to the Krust-o-Meter in Krustyland.  Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

Item Cost Category Points New/Returning
Leprechaun Statue $25,000 Vanity 750 New
O’Flanagan’s Pub $1,900 Gluttony 10 Returning
Shamrock Topiary $10,000 Vanity 400 Returning
Sham Rock Café 120 Donuts Gluttony 10 New
Wishing Well* 150 Donuts Vanity 1,600 Returning

*Also provides a 4% bonus on all cash and XP
All decorations can be placed anywhere in Springfield (except the road of course!)

Now that you can move some of the Valentine’s Day items into Krustyland this plays an impact on your Krust-O-Meter as well.  All Valentine’s Items placed in Krustyland will add 10 points to your Kitsch Rating, for each item placed.

What do YOU think of the Saint Patrick’s Day Update so far?  Have you splurged on some of the new premium items?  Having fun chasing around the Leprechauns?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

  1. Any chance of a yard sale yes I’m still chasing waterfalls

    • We hope so. Yard sales are usually a springtime thing when every starts their spring cleaning. Crossing fingers we get one. 😉

  2. I’m happy with the pub and 5 doughnuts…the excitement over extra doughnuts after Stampy kinda fizzled out but glad to get 4 in 4 days…still tapping but losing faith…thought tapping other’s leprechauns would pay out but no…
Yesterday marked a sad and happy time for me…not had a drink since 5 years ago, yesterday…yep…my tequila dance was stone cold sober…the happy part is that I was given a chance to redeem myself with my parents…I’m getting to bond with them as few do…though it has allowed my “PeterPan” complex to return, lol
    Drink one for me guys…
    Freak out

    • Wow Freak. Congrats on 5 years that is quite an accomplishment!

      • I had every intention of celebrating with a drink…but for now I’m trying to honor my folks wishes…I wanna cocktail soooo bad, lol…as for that morning I said I was hungover…it was a sugar hangover…honeybun before bed. 🙂

    • Congrats Freak! Way Cool on 5 years and rekindling bond!!

      • The reasons I should not drink simply lead to the reasons that make me want to drink…but ultimately, I wanted to prove to my folks and myself that I could finally crawl outta my hole after losing my kids to that evil redheaded witch…my son came back to me soon after turning 18… 🙂

    • Awww proud of yah. 😉

      • My original post announcing my recent sobriety was almost 500 words…was too dark and deep for here so…there, I shortened it to two sentences…your welcome…I mean, thanks…love to sip some of your water…someday.

  3. Just to clarify. The leprechaun statue costs 25000? Or at least I think it does… lol

  4. I like these “small” events because we get some neat stuff, but don’t have to work our selves to death (CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!).
