Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No it’s not time to restock Wookiee’s Cheetos. Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. The Simpsons are all new tonight…what will happen in the new episode? What troubles will they get into in Brazil? Can Homer REALLY make it as a soccer ref? Watch them along with us and find out! We FINALLY had Level 39 hit our games this week…of course we had to wait all the way until FRIDAY for it to happen, but it hit nonetheless! What do you think of the new update? Have you added Manjula to your Springfield? Elite 8 is almost over, and the Final Four has almost been decided! How’s YOUR team doing? Does anyone still have a halfway decent bracket in tact? Oh and IT’S OPENING NIGHT IN BASEBALL!!!! Is there anything better than the sound of “Play Ball!”?! Who do YOU think will win it all this season?

Fun fact:
My most useful task length is 16 hours. I go to sleep at 11pm and don’t come back from school until 3pm. That’s exactly 16 hours. However, very few characters have the 16h task with them.
Luckily, Dye the Town Green Pt. 6 gives all the adults a 16h task, and it can’t be finished unless Homer does something. So what I’ve done is sent everyone on 16h tasks as needed, but never sent Homer on his part of the quest. That way everyone gets 16 hour tasks!
I’ve found this trick quite useful, so if there’s an odder task time you like to use (10h, 20h, etc.) and a quest asks for it like this, it might come in handy.
That’s using you ole knoggin! 🙂
I did that with tasks in the past. Like round Halloween. Kept getting tons of points and $$$ by repeatedly sending them. Same with Christmas. 🙂

Bunny, hopefully they’ll give it to us this summer. Homers grilled so much in the past on the show, he needs one in game. Maybe on of those dyi grills lol.

I wish…I used to seriously believe in ufos until it dawned on me…if “they” were really here flying around, they wouldn’t have flashing lights on their crafts…I did see a ghost years ago and being a preacher’s son, I’ve seen something demonic…turned out to be my ex…lol…nah, really…saw someone levitate like in the movies…yeah, I AM crazy…but I saw it …long story…writing a book. 🙂

Two things i wish they would fix…..all that scrolling to find something and not having to tap 30 different things when all you want is just to pick up that so to speak elusive one!

I wish you could have one item and move it around as much as you want like a lot of other building games. I hate scrolling through 20 items to pick an item back up I want to move around again.

The couch gag made me think how cool it would be to have a couch in TSTO. I had a thought that what if they had a third new game area like Springfield and Krustyland that is just the Simpsons house interior. You place the sofa, beds, tv, fridge, corn curtains, etc and have tasks like sit on the couch, watch Itchy&Scratchy, cook dinner, roast marshmallows, gather Simpson family at dining table, etc.
But maybe it’s just me that likes multiple game areas, seeing as how many of my neighbour’s neglect Krustyland.
That would be really cool!

On another note, seeing Homer in his backyard, there was a shot of his grill behind him. That made me wish we had a grill decoration and a task for Homer to grill. Could be funny if it caught on fire. 🙂

I am finally working my way through Krustyland. I wanted my Springfield done along with Squidport before I went there. It’s going strong. Those new decorations are pretty cool.
I did the same thing in my town…started my KL during the last few days of the Christmas event…it’s been “done” now for a couple of weeks…well until they released the pink stuff…so Bunny made me doll up my Love Tunnel…I mean my Tunnel of Love…you guys noticed that there’s one guy riding it alone??? LOL 🙂

So after level 39 released, I had saved up over $6million. I finally splurged on land and have now spent over $5.5million buying 63 pieces of land and water. I’m planning a full makeover of my city.
Already re-did the Boardwalk, though I wish I had access to 53 more Boardwalk tiles. I’d even be fine with a cap of 200 tiles, but 151 is not enough for the look I would like 🙁
For my town and beach, I’ve decided to have a rich side of Springfield (a la Burns manor, Wolfcastle, Mob house, El Chemistry, Pimento Grove, etc) and a middle class size (most buildings) and then throw the low income Cletus and Nelson in the far corner.
Still need about $2million to unlock all remaining pieces of land.
I feel your pain!! I unlocked all the land. I’m just stuck with arranging everything while leaving room for anything new.

Yeah, this is my third time doing a full overhaul from scratch; wherein I destroy all roads and rivers, move all buildings to one corner, and re-design anew. It’s fun and painful. Just wish I had the money to but more land to keep re-designing my middle income area.
I gave my high income area residents (Burns manor, Wolfcastle mansion, and Mob compound) nice beach front properties with iron gates and even gated off their own private beach. They got the fancy blue beach chairs with the round side tables. Meanwhile the rest of the beach gets the plain purple beach chairs with no side tables fit for vagabonds.

Haha !! Sorry freak. Silly glitchea. Got some O.T @ work tonight so I am late getting back to my redesign. hopefully soon the prison will be locked up tightly to keep Springfield safe from the Sideshow Bob’s & Snake’s of the world 🙂
