So Tuesday (3/25) meant the end of St. Patrick’s Day in Springfield (as well as the end of the War of Art Episode Tie-In) but alas our rivers were still green since an actual update was required to rid our town of green water for another year. And that update hit on Friday (3/28)!
Of course with the release of Level 39 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are. So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
The Level 39 update has introduced 2 new buildings, 2 new characters, 2 new decorations (including the Friend Point E.A.R.L) & all new point amounts required to reach a 5-Star Springfield. (we’ll cover Krustyland after Springfield) At Level 39 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter:

As you can see, Level 39 has increased most of the requirements. Consumerism and Gluttony have increased by 2 points each…that’s not so bad right? Tree-hugging has jumped up 1,290 points. Vanity saw a 2,300 point increase while Righteousness went up about 9 points. Hey more people in Springfield the harder it is to keep crime off the streets! And Socialism saw a 102 point jump…which should be easy to hit with the new Friend Point Prize!
So now let’s take a look at how these new buildings and decorations Level 39 dropped in impact our Conform-o-Meter:

Now onto the Krust-o-Meter! You can find all of the details behind the Krust-o-Meter here, but it’s basically a Conform-O-Meter for Krustyland. The Level 39 update introduced EIGHT NEW items for Krustyland (finally!) and here’s how those items impact the Krust-o-Meter:

Now many of you have been commenting that the requirements must have changed because you noticed a drop in your KL ratings. BUT the requirements HAVE NOT changed. In fact they’re basically a set requirement to achieve each level of bouncing balls, and those requirements can be found here.
The reason why your Krust-O-Meter ratings may have dropped is because the trees have dropped from awarding you 25 points each to Kitsch all the way down to 10 points each (a 15 point drop!) So if you’ve been relying on those trees to help your Kitsch rating you’ll have to add loads more to boost that rating back up!

Yay awesome Krustyland bus stop! Did it with lots of trees, wheels of chances, and gift shops. I think ring tosses may do well on the merch side as well.
Also… thanks for the training wall tip. I’ve been wondering for months how to get righteousness in check and keep it that way.
I’m a hoarder, I have no problem with the 5 star/ball LOL. Only problem with that is I’m still short about 50k of getting Apu’s ,(needless to say, no tile making until I’ve gotten it).

As for spiders, I have no problem killing them, even squish the little buggers with my fingers if they’re smaller than the palm of my hand… but I can think of a few other things men are good for… like changing light bulbs, and um… ummm…., well they are still good for something 😉
