Springfield Showoff: What Apartment Do YOU Live in?

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.

This week I wanted to see what you have done with all the Apartment complexes we now have in our games. Especially with the cool looking new one just added with Level 39. Apu’s Apartment that includes Manjula. I am also working in my B game in my Apartment District and wanted some inspiration and ideas of how to complete it.

As usual, YOU sent me a lot of really great designs. Here are the results…

alunited has their Apartments in a small mini city area with some restaurants and a park close by.

 

Alipine not only has a great complex, but also included a “lil” extra housing for the Happy Little Elves too.

 

beckylogel gave their Apartments a nice lil beach access by Squidport. So you can go for a dip in the pool or with the fishes.

 

Ben Wolf has all of their Apartments grouped into one block. I wonder what Manjula thinks of pregnant Brandine.

 

Chazza_Skilzz, our friend over at TOuk, has quite a cool looking serenity/worship area next to Apu’s Apartment.

 

CXonor13 has some nice lil areas around each of their Apartments. Popsicle Stick Patty & Selma outside the Spinsters. A nice lil hidden Sleep Eazy Hotel near the Krustylu Studios.

 

Cybersilly made Apartment Row in their town. Simple decorations in front of each one. A woodsy/farm area behind.

 

dexsurf added some fun near their Bachelor Arms. Daddy trying to sway the kids to like him more than Mommy? Lol. What is Otto doing at the Spinsters?

 

EvilKitten812 has a nice grouping of their Apartment Area. I wonder who Tony is trying to serenade outside the Spinsters?

 

Fresco3332 has a lonely Snow Monster wandering around their Bachelor Arms. A Killer Dolphin stalking Krabappel’s. The twins are enjoying a “fresh air” break outside the Spinsters.

 

Kenia J., from Facebook, sent us this shot of their Apartment area tucked close behind the Hospital and doctors office. Probably a great idea for all those bachelors.

 

 

Mopurglar has their Apartment Area tucked up above the beach. Must be a nice view to see when you wake up in the morning.

 

 

OSebhlen created a cool pool in their Apartment Complex.

 

platypusguitar also created a really nice pool area for their Apartment Complex.

 

saramary3 has a nice lil park set up for all of their Apartment renters to go and enjoy some sun and a bite to eat. Looks like a lot of Springfield residents are kicking back all around.

 

 

smitty959 has a mix of Apartments and housing for their Springfield residents. 

 

WalkerMerle has quite a few different cool areas going on for their Apartments. Everything from a mixed food and shopping area to a beach side relaxation spot.

 

I’m really impressed. A lot of great ideas. A few I would like to incorporate into my lil town. So there you have it. Some awesome inspiration of what to do when making an Apartment/Complex type area.
