Well it has been a little while now since EA launched another free item into our little social event. (You can read more about it here.)
The question on everyone’s minds is…Do I still get free donuts from tapping in my neighbor’s towns after obtaining E.A.R.L. at Level 6?
The answer is YES!! WOOHOO!!! I am getting reports all over that those yummy sweet lil sprinkly donuts are still being found while tapping around in your friends/neighbors towns. I actually just got another one in my neighbors town as I am writing this. (Yes, I CAN see mine now.)
So keep on tapping away! Nothing is better than FREE DONUTS!! 😉 Don’t forget to check your count too. I started out not seeing the donut icon at all, but was still getting them added to my total donut count.

I almost forgot about this…I was staring at my town today wondering, “Why am I tapping all 100 friends every day when I could just work a lot slower?” Answer was, donuts.
I have gotten a donut on two different days. I do see the donuts when I get them just as in the picture. I’ve only had the EARL for 3 days of collecting so I have noticed a trend yet.
Before level 6 came out I seemed to get the most donuts when trying to tap different types of buildings. I actually got 3 donuts in one day back then (the donuts even popped out for me back then too). Tagging buildings hasn’t seemed to do anything special for me but I had wondered if that had anything to do with the flash of the spinning donut.

Woohoo, three donuts today!!! …then with one neighbor left, the game kicked me out…social butterfly syndrome…but I don’t care!!! 🙂

I am still getting FREE donuts and I am finally seeing them appear when I visit friends (like your pic, Bunny). On average I get two/day, but sometimes only 1. : / can’t complain, though, a FREE donut is a FREE donut!! I’m just happy we’re getting such a nice reward for being maxed out!

I have gotten one so far, but I only just got EARL a couple days ago and have yet to tap today.
Can I brag about donuts I acquired in a different way? My credit card had a promotion where if you spend more than $5 at the itunes store, they give you $5 back. I decided to buy 6 golden scratchers. I won 183 donuts total!! As a normally fremium player I have never had this many donuts in my life. Hooray!!

Awesome…on the other hand, my son was trying to catch up with me, also hoping for donuts and bought 4 Homer Buddhas…he got crap…now he’s discouraged from playing, before that he bought two scatch offs and his game crashed each time, lost the tickets and money…he won’t complain to EA, just me…he’s the one that got me started on this game…so enjoy those donuts!!! 🙂
Anybody know if you can earn donuts tapping in Krustyland rather than Springfield? I’ve been only tapping in my Friends’s Krustylands cause I’m in serious need of tickets. Haven’t gotten a donut yet, but that might just be because I’ve been too busy to visit friends lately.
Haven’t tested that theory. I can over the next 2 days and see what I get. 🙂
While I predominantly tap in Springfield, I must have tapped at least 150 times in Krustyland over the 22 days I’ve been eligible for donuts and I’ve not received a single donut in Krustyland despite getting 43 in Springfield over the same course of time. Granted in juxtaposition to the 150 actions in Krustyland, I’ve probably had over 6000 taps in regular Springfields, and 6000:43 is equivalent to 150:1 so my sample size is quite small.

Since getting Stampy, I’ve received 17 donuts in neighbor’s towns. I have been keeping track of them and here is what I’ve got each day. After Stampy: 0,3,2,1,1,0,3,1,0,1,1,0,2,0. After E.A.R.L.: 1,0, and 1 from last night.
Glad I’m not the only OCD that keeps track. I’ve gotten 43 donuts thus far and I visit all 100 neighbour’s each day. I find I get them mostly when I’m not vandalizing. After Stampy, I got 32 from March 12 to 27, I got 1, 2, 4, 2, 2, 1, 3, 3, 0, 2, 1, 0, 2, 4, 2, and 3. And now after E.A.R.L., I have earned 11 from April 2 to 7, I got 1, 3, 3, 2, 0, and 2 yesterday.
I have noticed three neighbour’s have given me 13 of my 43 donuts. BloodIVLube has given me 5 donuts, while my “B” account and our very own WookieeMama have each given me 4. I always get extra excited visiting those three neighbour’s.
Before this last update, I would get 2-3 donuts every few days, just tapping on houses–not vandalizing…I would see the donut pop up, never noticed my count going up without seeing a donut. yesterday was my first donut while tapping since getting EARL so I hope this trend continues!

Are you looking to “see” a lil donut pop up? Or are you checking your counts too? First go round I never saw a single donut. Earned many, but never saw one. 🙂
No donuts have appeared and none have incremented my donut count.
Hey, I know vandalizing is/was best getting each FP prize because you were helping eachother…I have pushed the practice after Earl simply because I FEEL that activating that flashing download has got to mean something good…I HAVE BEEN WRONG BEFORE…just ask any woman… 🙂
In order to recieve the donuts from your friends, should your FP be maxed out?
I have only heard a few very rare cases that those that have NOT maxed saw them. I have yet to get confirmation on it though. For my games, it only happened AFTER I had maxed out my FP’s at Level 6 and got E.A.R.L. 🙂

If you are having troubles with the in app adding, try the desktop version instead of Origin. It is so much simpler in my opinion and you can tell if the person you are trying to add is full. It tells you, unlike the game that gives you a false message and says YOU are full at time.

Also, try to do a search for a name by dropping the last few letters/numbers off. Then it will pull up all the similar names on the list and you can scroll down to find the one you are looking for. Hope that helps. 🙂
Most days I get none like today, one day I got 4 , two days I got 2 and two days I got one …..I got them on different homes and buildings so far so I don’t see a pattern ….yet
Basically same here…hit or miss. Somedays (since acquiring all FP prizes) I’ve been getting donuts, 2-4 when I do get them. One day however, I didn’t get any. As far as the guy that said he’s been getting them the entire time even during prizes….go him….if it’s a valid statement. I’ll just keep on tapping…can’t go wrong with the cash at least. Looking forward to an update!!!!! I know you know something, Just tell Us Please!!
I am just using my mind on this one. I am seeing trends, seeing numbers, and seeing a HUGE influx of new gamers about to jump into a new and possibly competitive game. So in my eyes, I see EA launching something BIG this week. I will be shocked if they don’t have something up by Friday at the latest. Only time will tell. Don’t you worry, I will let you know as soon as I see something confirming my hunches hit the files. 😉
There isn’t a nicer rush than seeing that tiny donut pop out after tapping on a neighbour. I love it! Hope EA keeps it going.

I’m averaging 3-4 per day. Not noticing a pattern tho. Either way woo-hoo, that’s on average of 100 free donuts per month. As long as you tap everyday.
Nice. It is great. I got so many free donuts around Halloween time. Similar to now. It made my Freemium game really happy. 🙂

I got two a day until yesterday… none 🙁 …got earl 4days ago and 6 donuts…as for vandalizing…I just don’t know…seems like people are truly getting them randomly…you’d think that little donut downloading thingy must mean something but…I’m not getting more but less than most so perhaps the vandalizing aspect was just beneficial when going after the current Frink prize, giving your friends more points…
All I know is that I want some more donuts…to go please!!! 🙂

Since I got EARL (5 days or so ago) I’ve gotten at least 8 free donuts…the last 4 coming in 2 days. I’ve noticed it doesn’t matter if there’s vandalism. My strategy is going for the businesses (king tuts, lard lad) and doing a combo of feature homes (Simpsons, Flanders, and the brown house). Now you know my secrets.
Hey do you think with the family guy game coming, EA will give us an Easter update or Whacking day so we are too distracted to play another ripoff?

Yesterday, my donut count was up 3 after a single round of visiting friends and not seeing a single one pop up while tapping. Today, I saw one and that was the only one added to the count. Seems to still be hit or miss.
