Hey there Hoppereenos. How are you doing on the Episode Tie-In Update? Are you giggling as much as I am at the Homer collapsing animation? I don’t know why. Maybe it is the look on his face. Maybe it is how he gets up all innocent and “nothing happened…nope…not at all” attitude. How many times has Homer been in the hospital now? That guy. Despite it all, he keeps on gorging himself on all he can.
Anywho…changes to the game.
For those of us that had the privilege around Halloween to get Maude, she is now being offered again as a combo to new players for a limited time with the Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop for 25 donuts. UPDATE: EA realized their “oops” on the cost and released an update to correct the price to 150 donuts. The good news for us is this has now set her as an OFFICIAL premium character in our game. That means all her tasks will now earn the premium $$$ and XP that other premiums do. WOOHOO!!!
Maude’s Tasks:

Next up, Comic Book Guy and Agnes. In the past, they used to stroll around town on Agnes’ Quest to Go on a date with Comic Book Guy. For those of you that caught the Simpsons Episode: Married to the Blob, you will know that Comic Book Guy married a new character brought into the game, Kumiko. This makes it kind of impossible for Comic Book Guy to date Agnes anymore. EA has tried to correct this lil issue by changing the task name (the animation is still the same). So now Agnes gets help from Comic Book Guy to cross the street instead. Lol.
On a side note, Pokey is still available for a “Limited Time” (hahahaha) in my A game where I did NOT buy it. Lol. So for those of you with it still in your game, you can still buy yourself another lil NPC that runs around and squeaks.
In the meantime, I am still poking around in the information to see if there is anymore changes/items that were effected with this update. As usual, just double check your Confirm Donut Spend, especially if you had to uninstall and reinstall your game for troubleshooting. (Better to be safe than sorry, right?)

This is pretty late, but I realized today that the Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop now earns a premium rate of $55, 5 XP every hour instead of the previous $35, 3 XP. Not bad.

Is it normal to have character tasks ending by themselves or restarting? I left Homer on the last 7hr raiding fridge task and I when woke up this morning, he’s off it and I have to start it over again.
Actually, the tasks had an expiration of 11:59 PM PST last night. So it ended regardless where you were. That’s the dialog it showed. Take a look at the original update info and my post on end of weekend update. Hope that helps.

I’m sure Mrs Krabappel used to do her trademark laugh when i clicked on her before.. now she’s silent, is that something anyone else has noticed? Is it part of the update?

Ok I usually don’t write on these things but I am MAD! With the recent update you get the chance to buy the fortune teller’s shop with Maude Flanders. It was offered for 25 donuts. I thought ‘Great finally I have something worth spending my donuts on’ because most things cost too many to get without having to spend real money to purchase enough donuts. So I go back to make the purchase and It magically went up to 150 donuts. UNREAL. Makes want to put down this game for good.
It was an error on EA’s part. It was really odd. It has happened before… they released an item cost too soon and it was in OUR favor. So those that jumped in early got a deal. The rest of us have to pay full/actual cost on it. Sorry.

Bunny, has anyone had this happen : after reading your post about the latest updates etc. I went in and saw the changes and tapped in my neighbors toward the 3000 needed for the next FP level. I closed the app and when I went back at lunch time it was gone and was back to the maxed out level 7 and the changes to the site and quest with Homer was gone !

Yes. That’s a standard rollback glitch that tenda to hit here n there each update. Try the basic troubleshooting of logging out and restarting your device to see if it brings it back. Let us know.

I am using an iPhone Bunny and I did shut it down , restart it , and voila there it was starting the quest again BUT the FPs that I had showed back up with everything else ! Phew ! Thanks for the info ! :-))
