Springfield Showoff: Seven Duffs & Bumblebee Man Taco Truck

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.

Seven Duff Bumblebee Man Taco Truck Showoff

This week I was curious as to just what you did with the Seven Duffs and Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck that were given to us courtesy the new level. I still want MORE for Krustyland, but this is a good start.

As usual, you were more than happy to show me what ideas you had put into play with the items. Here are the results…

BradenLego has his all tucked behind the Scratchy ride.

Nick Tupper created a cool hedge/fence surrounding area for his Pavilion. The Bumblebee Man Taco Truck has a great spot by some of the other food stops.

Cybersilly tucked their Taco Truck right outside their bumper car ride(pretty cool ride). Then did some pretty cool decorations surrounding their Duff Pavilion. (Looks like Homer is on the prowl for a Duff.)

Brian Zoro has Tents next to each of their Seven Duffs. Makes you wonder if there really IS people inside and they have to stand there all day, then get to rest off and on in the tents. Lol.

  1. Love all the different ideas! I thought mine paled in comparison. It’s great to see a lot of my neighboreenos here! I am happy to be home from a long day of work & “see” all you peeps, it warms the cockles of my heart 🙂

  2. ok, between My wonderful neighbor Vivoy and Cybersilly showing his stuff plus all these wonderful Tappereenos showing their talent and awesomeness, it has become apparent that i have become possesed by Snake! Gonna have to steal these glorious works of art!!! 😉

  3. Love your Go Kart track Cybersilly. Clever idea. I used mine, like many others did, as Bumper Karts. But using them as Go Karts along a track, genius!

    1. You are too kind my “Bruce Glitch” buddy. I first had the bumper car setup also, then got bored with it. Next, I used 4 cars and a Krusty fountain to create a “spinning” type ride. Got bored with that…lol. Finally had enough tickets to buy up the rest of Krustyland and built “Krusty’s Krashtopia”.

      1. I love the name of the fake ride. My boring bumper cars is Krusty’s broKen Koaster Kars… extra K for obvious reasons. Krusty is one of the chosen people after all.

      2. Thanks Wookiee, I thought you would get a kick out of that name with a nod to Disney. And Thank you for the awesome post…Krustyland in 3D. I saw the Steven Itman 3D ride platform, (I call mine, “Krusty’s Amazing Towers of Amazement”) and had to have one (changed the landscaping and line queuing, but basically the same design). I’m now saving up tickets to build the Itman amphitheater you showed (with your take on it).

        1. That’s what the game is all about. Sharing the awesomeness. I’m just happy someone besides myself names their silliness.

P.S. Tried to send you a request last night but for some reason it failed.

  4. Vivoy53 most excellent design.

It is great how everyone here has put in a lot of effort into what are minor decorations.

  5. Hey Vivoy53!!!…my new neighbor, love your town!!! Nice to see the pro, Wookiee and his work!!! SaraMary and I did some tweaking the other day…she definitely out tweaked me!!! There’s Granmamadar up there, Woohoo!!! 🙂

    1. Great photos gang…hey “Freak”…if you ever get some room in your friend list…add me…cybersilly684……would love to visit your town (and Krustyland) 😊

      1. Howdy new neighbor…you missed the pyramid islands…no big deal…my town is a mess compared to yours…love your use of the rivers…I want more…really great town Cyber!!!

      2. Hey new friend…….WOW….what a great town. I was truly “laughing out loud” over the clever jokes and sites……the zipper, the messages, that cool prism effect……just a satisfying visit (I need a smoke now..lol). I could only vandal one building, but I left the other two in your impressive Krustyland. “Tap” to you later.😊

      3. Thank you, thank you…your words(andtapping) mean alot to me…I do really want to fancy-up my town with such ideas as 3D prisons and other shrub related illusions but my focus has just been to fart around with silly stuff…this year has been busy in the event department…instead of remodeling, I’m just tapping along!!!
        🙂
