As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
This week I was curious as to just what you did with the Seven Duffs and Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck that were given to us courtesy the new level. I still want MORE for Krustyland, but this is a good start.
As usual, you were more than happy to show me what ideas you had put into play with the items. Here are the results…
BradenLego has his all tucked behind the Scratchy ride.
vivoy53 made a cool entrance to their Duff Pavilion as well as some neat 2D wording to go along with it.
Sarthur945538 made a cool lil walkway area of the Seven Duffs leading to their Pavilion.
SafiZaidi99 used a few different decorations to create their walkway to the Pavilion.
Philip Starkes has his Seven Duffs in a nice lil decorated area surrounding his Pavilion.
Nick Tupper created a cool hedge/fence surrounding area for his Pavilion. The Bumblebee Man Taco Truck has a great spot by some of the other food stops.
mosley352 used those broken trash letters to create a cool looking 2D message along with their Seven Duffs.
granmamaDar got into the fun by putting her Taco Truck right next to the Castle and KrustyBurger shack. She also created a cool path leading to her Duff Pavilion.
Cybersilly tucked their Taco Truck right outside their bumper car ride(pretty cool ride). Then did some pretty cool decorations surrounding their Duff Pavilion. (Looks like Homer is on the prowl for a Duff.)
Brian Zoro has Tents next to each of their Seven Duffs. Makes you wonder if there really IS people inside and they have to stand there all day, then get to rest off and on in the tents. Lol.
alunited has their Seven Duff hanging out around the Hotel.
freaknstein8 designed his area around the Duff Pavilion pretty cool.
You know Wookiee had to get in on the Duff fun. Here is the Fuzzball’s cool designs from his town. (Can you tell me where the “BORT” reference comes from?)
Love seeing all these great ideas. A few I would like to incorporate into my lil town. So there you have it. Some awesome inspiration of what to do with those new Krustyland decorations. I always love to see more, so feel free to keep sending them in, posting to Flickr, etc. What did YOU think of the designs? Anything cool you want to incorporate into YOUR town? Sound off in the comments below.
Next week, I wanna see what you did with….DUN DUN DUN…DEATH!! Homer’s Graves, the Cemeteries, Indian Burial Grounds, Cremobot. Are they all in one place? Are they scattered? Are they all behind the Churches? Retirement Home? SHOW ME!!!
(Here are a few of my areas of “Death”)
