Easter has arrived in Springfield! But, with the new Easter premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Mojo the Helper Monkey to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this little guy to YOUR Springfield.

Pros:
-Another animal to add into your collection
-Shows his “lazy” side when tapped.
-A monkey for Springfield. And walks around with his arms up in the air…pretty amusing to watch.
Cons:
-Pricey. For a NPC Mojo has a hefty price tag!
-No tasks or questline associated with adding Mojo to your town.
-Another Non-Playable Character to get lost in your Springfield.
Final Thought:
Personally, this is one I would pass on. Even myself as a completest I think I’m going to pass on this one. With all the NPCs I already have in my town, PLUS the ones you can win in the boxes I just don’t think Mojo is worth the donuts.
In the end it’s your call. What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think. Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME character and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before the event is over if you’re thinking about it.

While scrolling through the premium items for sale my finger accidentally touched Mojo the Monkey. ( didn’t have the confirm purchase activated). So, I now have Mojo and I am very bummed. I totally agree with Alissa on passing on this item. Very small and not worth the money. FYI in case anyone is still contemplating a purchase.
Ugh that’s the worst! Just goes to show how important that confirm donut spend is. I wish it would just be automatic tho and not something you constantly have to reset!
Every time there is an update I make sure to re-check the option to confirm donut spend. Several times the game has gone back to the default setting.

See I thought that maybe that’s what he would do. Possibly interact with all the rabbits, finding them and grabbing the eggs. That might make it worth it, but came to this page to find out more and am disappointed. I remember him from the show, and I know he ended up not being too helpful since homer taught it to be lazy… But still I had hopes, but will pass on it

Every game ever made typically has an initial set price.
The idea of charging money for extra /added content is a relatively new concept that I believe started in the 90’s… I could be wrong tho.
As long as there are games to play or files to look at… hackers will always be present.
They’ve been around since computers were first being made.
Oh I completely agree in that regard, which is why I also included the quick spenders in the mix too. 🙂

Hi Everybody!!! i would love to see a post on who has received what so far pertaining to the boxes of Easter. To date but not whining, I’ve received 4 ponds, 1 Kang Topiary, 2 Beach Umbrellas, 2 egg piles, 1 Easter Main Gate, The Banana Dictatorship Bulding and 20 easter gates plus Gold coins of 100 and 300 a few times. I hope i get some characters and other buildings but if not then donuts will be spent LOL. Hope everyone is doing well and Keep On Zapping!! 🙂

I have not got anything exciting yet except banana dictatorship, which I got first go, otherwise beach umbrella x2 pond x 2, gold eggs probably about 6-8 times, I think I’m up to 18 fences, and 2 trees and a pile of eggs 🙂 can’t wait to get the good stuff 🙂
Sounds pretty good. 🙂 Keep in mind that those larger prizes in pink n blue wont start to hit til you have got 12 boxes. The NON dominant color yields the best gold eggs AND more often. (300 at around 45% of spins). Once in gold…ANYTHING but Shary has a chance right away of hitting. Just have fun. Thats what counts, right? 😉

Yea they’re poking fun of a lot of stuff in the game dialogue this go-round. They’re very aware of what they’re doing…but they’re also very aware that there are A LOT of hackers out there as we as a lot of free spenders. They’re getting what they can out of them by making them feel rushed in the game. Which is why I say just play at your speed…it’s so early now is not the time to be obsessed with getting everything immediately and winning all the prizes. Still 3 weeks left 🙂
Sorry but this was a must buy for me!! he is from one of my favourite episodes, in my favourite season of the entire show! No season is better than Season 9!!!! 🙂

In game dialogue has played a bigger part in this update than any other.
Pointing out ever so clearly….the obvious.
What happens, why it happens, and a little of when.
EA wants money…. Gets money. Very, very successfully.
…and for what?
To no longer acknowledge this direct obviousness, is…..well…
They know very well what they’re doing, whether it be good..or bad.

My tsto won’t load at all today. I’ve made sure my internet was connected & I do have a very strong signal. When I try to log on it either turns the screen completely black or it gives me the screen with Bart on it saying that it can’t connect to server. Is there some issue with the game thats being worked on? Im going nuts. Help!!!
I’m having similar issues myself. If I get the black screen I just keep hard closing the app and restarting it. After a couple of attempts it goes back. For me the black screen is neighbor related. I have 1 neighbor who’s town freezes my game (i’m deleting them as a neighbor right now) and I have to close the game every time i go there. So when I try to go back into TSTO I get the black screen. Frustrating!
As far as Bart screen goes…i know there are some glitches they’re trying to work out with the game, so it could be testing related to that.

I’m not happy whenever they want you to spend money on something that gives you no bonus, earns you no money and doesn’t contribute to any quests whatsoever, but I had to buy Mojo. My friends and I have been saying “pray for Mojo” to each other whenever the situation dictates(okay, the situation hardly dictates it, but we do it anyway) since the episode first aired. Whenever one of us is sick, hungover, or just stuck at some boring social engagement, a “pray for Mojo” text or phone call goes out. In fact, when I saw Mojo offered in the game I immediately sent a screen shot to everyone. So I had to buy him. It’s a waste of donuts if you’re not obsessed with this pathetic, shell of a monkey, but at any rate, it’s better than 300 donuts for a whale!!

Being very new to TSTO game (only a few weeks now), what happens to items won or purchased during the limited Easter game period? What also happens to TSTO game once the Easter game period is over? Thanks!
Well welcome to the madness of TSTO! 🙂
Items won/purchased over the event will remain in your town. As long as you purchased or won them (even if they stay in your inventory) they will remain in your Springfield as long as you have the game. The only thing we’re not sure on with this event is the baskets. Since the baskets disappear after they’re used, we’re not sure if they’ll remain in Springfield if they’re unused after the event. (although my guess would be no, since you can’t store them once placed)
As far as TSTO itself…when the event is over (usually in the middle of the night) the next morning/afternoon they’ll have a download available in the App Store. That download will remove the event and change the splash screen. Often times we see that download add new content to the game, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes the new content will come a day or two later. However, you can continue to play the Easter Event until the game forces you to download the update (usually a day later).

Ok so first off….I checked through ALL of the comments pending, approved AND trashed. There are no other comments from you regarding this question anywhere. So I don’t know if they just didn’t post when you hit send comment or something else happened. But this is the first I’m seeing you ask these specific questions.
Also…we do need sleep to. So sometimes if you ask a question in the middle of the night for the three of us it might not get approved until the morning. I know you want an answer immediately…but we’re not machines. We do need sleep. Sometimes one of us is around various times of the night (since we’re all in different time zones…but all in the US so from EST to PST) but we do sleep 🙂
Now to answer your questions. Graves…that was a limited time thing with the Days of Future Future update. When it ended at 3am EST on 4/13 if you were in process of getting a grave…it kicked you out. Whatever you got prior to that stayed in your town, but you could NOT get anything after that. As the game warned it ended at midnight (PST). As far as Easter Fences…those are won in the Easter Prize boxes. You have to collect eggs and win them. You can check out this post for more details on how to buy a prize box.
As far as Carrots are concerned. They WILL NOT unlock for you to plant until you reach part 8 of the main questline. You can check out this post for the walkthrough and this post for details on the carrots.

I have a totally non-easter-eventish question.
I “accidentally” stored my twirl ‘n’ hurl thingy in krustyland (i needed nelson to pick me up some eggs, and, well, he was doing the 16 hour task in krustyland so I stored the whole thing, that’s makes nelson free from ending a task without spending any donuts.) so anyway, I stored it, and now I can’t put it back out, it says that it requires quest “start the twirl ‘n’ hurl quest”. I wonder if anyone got the same problem? I think we got this quest during the Halloween event last year, so I don’t know if I will get it again or will my twirl stay stored from now on?? It’s really frustrating, please help.
This is the first I’m hearing of this. Let me try storing it in my town and see if I can duplicate the problem. Give me a little bit to check it out.
Ok so i tried to duplicate the issue and can’t. So this tells me it’s got to be an issue with your game directly. (I’ve also check to forums on EA and haven’t seen anything. At this point your best bet is to contact EA directly, open a ticket with them and tell them the issue. So when Bart got free from his 24 hour task (he was also in krustyland) he automatically popped up with a krustyland (!) symbol, and begin the task. so.. whew. 🙂 I got to place it back right away. thank god. I’m so happy! :):)
Anyway, thank you for helping me. If this happens again with somebody you should just tell them to wait for Bart to be free and than send him to krustyland.. that solved the problem for me. 🙂
