So we’re 2 weeks in from the start of the bunny invasion, with 2 more weeks to go! Now that everyone is busy tapping and zapping I want to know…what have YOU won so far? It was great having everyone share their results after week 1 that we thought we’d check in with everyone and see how their doing after week 2!
Here’s where I currently am in my A town after 2 weeks of bunny catching:
Note: In my A town I’m playing as freemium as I can get with this event. I have not purchased a single Egg. The only purchase I’ve made at this point was for the MKII and that’s been more a test to see if I experience the same glitch a few of you are mentioning (where it gives you your dominant color instead of your non-dominant color). Beyond that not 1 item has been purchased. All baskets have been won and all Eggs have been tapped or zapped. I am growing carrots and using Witch Marge…so I earn about 10-13 eggs/2 hrs with that (when I remember to go in and tap it!). Also…I am NOT maxed out on friends. I currently have 75 neighbors.

For those not wanting to count…I won Chirpy and Bart Jr on attempt #13 and Blocko Store on attempt #18. Ended up with 6 Fences (18 total towards Sucking Out quest), 700 Gold Eggs, 1 Easter Tree and 2 Umbrella and Towels. So…I’ve now stopped attempting on pink since I’ve unlocked both items and am converting pink eggs to blue.
In the Blue Box I won the Egg Council Guy on my 14th attempt and in the Gold Box I got lucky and won Hugs on my second attempt & Banana Dictatorship on my 5th!
Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time for playing this week because I’ve been traveling BUT I still think I’m in good shape with 2 weeks left in the event!

With less then a week to go, I still need Father Sean, Shary Bobbins, and of course the one thing every 40 yr old man must have, the Lego ( Blocko) building! Should I buy a truckload of eggs or still wait a coupla more days?

Awww. Just keep in mind you have to open at least 12 boxes in the pink and blue before the buildings hit. The Gold varies, but all minus Shary have the ability to hit from box one.
Yeah I had a good run to start with, then I hit the Gold box and after winning Hugs Bunny and bananna dictatorship, I hit a low point and just got picket fences Ad nauseum with the odd topiary. Things changed for the better last night, I actually won the faberge egg, then a pink basket and then today I scored Fr Sean on my first Gold Box of the day. All I need now is Shary Bobbins and I am done. Don’t give up, keep plugging away.

I’m team pink and got everything from the pink and blue boxes, except for egg council guy, but I don’t really need to have him. From the gold box, I got Father Sean (woohoo!), the Kang topiary and the Easter gate. I’d really like to get Shary Bobbins and Hugs Bunny, ideally, but I’m not sure which box to keep opening now. Do I keep trading my pink eggs for blue ones, or do I just open pink boxes to get the most gold eggs?

Your best bet for gold eggs is your non-dominant box. I’m in the same boat as you trading away just hoping for some luck…

Cguy hear, reporting from the Easter Front. It’s D-7 (7 days before D-Day, the end of the Bunny Invasion). Interesting side note, the D in D-Day stands for…. Day! Day-Day! Gotta love the creative military mind.
Our brave forces are preparing for the end of the Bunny Invasion, collecting supplies as best they can, although all the forces of Nature and EA seem to be against them.
Since D-8, they collected enough Blue Eggs to give them enough Pink Eggs for a Pink Box, where they found 300 Gold Eggs, which let them find a Gold Box, which gave them… 250 Pink Eggs. Yes, 1000 Blue Eggs became 250 Pink Eggs.
They persevered, and collected enough Blue and Pink Eggs to give them one more shot at a Pink Box. This time, they collected their 7th Easter Tree. Perhaps they can use these trees for fortification – although one does NOT want to consider the necessary camo gear.
On the upside, they have been fortunate to receive 1 pink and 2 blue baskets – a HUGE haul compared to the last 2 weeks. Although, at the time of this report they all stand empty.
Speaking of baskets…, we KNOW all the entirety of the BIF (Bunny Invasion Force) is composed of females, since they lay eggs. But what the heck do they bring that lays baskets??!?!!?! If these are more bunnies, I don’t want to go NEAR that anatomy.
Hopefully, the D-7 preparations go better.

The Fluffy troops have hence broken through the cotton candy tree fortress and infiltrated your town. They left behind Colorful lil presents for you. Just pray they are not of the chocolate covered raisins type. 😛

So I was getting very discouraged with this event since completing the main quest line, but today I got the natural Faberge egg from a random bunny and a short time later my first basket in over a week. I know there has been a debate about the baskets, but I had been getting at least 1/day until I finished the quest line then nothing until I got the Fabrege egg… I’ve read y’all haven’t seen anything in the files but it it suspicious to me…
Also, do you have any advice on how to handle cashing in eggs for boxes after getting the premium prizes from the pink and blue boxes? I’m a blue player and obviously I want gold eggs, but I’m getting so frustrated in collecting 1000 blue eggs to trade for 500 pink eggs and hoping to land on 300 gold eggs but instead getting 250 blue eggs and feeling like I wasted 750 blue eggs… Is it crazy to just open blue boxes with blue eggs.?.
The games vary by players. Many were not getting hardly any baskets at all (myself included in one game) until AFTER I completed the event and BEFORE the Faberge. Then the baskets started rolling in. The Faberge followed a few days after…then more baskets. Wookiee finished the quest. No Faberge. Got the Baskets. Later got Faberge. I find it half the readers here shouted 3 or more baskets weekly while others shouted one every 7 days or more. So again…random. I do not think the Faberge has anything what so ever to do with the Baskets.
As far as the boxes go, if you feel you have better luck with the Blue, then play the blue. I just like the non dominant egg box for the chance at more gold…but that is me. Try it and see how you fair on it. See what strategy works best for you and go with it. No two games are alike. 😉

Hm, maybe it depends on what color your main color for eggs is, which way your baskets drop? It’s a different version of the game (blue or pink) and with that version the way baskets drop differ…
I’m team blue, and i get average 1 basket/day, except the 6 day period between finishing the quest to getting the Fabergé egg, during which i did not get any baskets. I clear my bunnies every 2-4 hrs (if i can) so that’s a high amount of bunnies each day.
Might have nothing to do with color, and may be completely random… but i’m curious now lol
My A game is pink. My B game is blue. Both have got random baskets. I hardly play the A game as the B is my testing town for the blog. I got MORE baskets in the A game that I played less in then the B game I play daily. I got baskets in the A after quest line all done and before the Faberge Egg was found. Another test game…baskets after questline (3 total)…still no Faberge Egg in it.
My deduction…still totally random. Lol.
The game is getting more and more frustrating….ever since i completed the quest i stopped getting free baskets and my luck in the eggs have vanished…i finshed my blue eggs prices and moved on to swap them into pink, but when i use them i get umbrellas or other stuff but not premium!!!
I feel frustrated wasting time collecting eggs and at the end i get nothing in return

I only got 2 baskets in the entire week. Some of my neighbors have more baskets right now then I have gotten the entire event (I think it’s about 8 total).
