Turbo Tappin’ Level 40: Miss. Hoover & Chocolate Pain

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

And greetings from 35,000ft in the air….thank goodness for a steady connection of Airplane and Airport Wi-Fi so I can bring you the latest on Level 40!  Currently flying high above the US on my way back home to the East Coast (where apparently it’s raining cats and dogs…don’t worry I’ll try hard not to step on a poodle! 😉 ) ANYWAY….

Level 40 has arrived in Springfield…right in the middle of Easter!!! Way to totally throw us off EA!    ANYWAY…like I was saying Level 40 is upon us and what a fun Level it is!  Lisa and Ralph finally get their teacher back, Ms. Hoover, and the music program will be restored at Springfield Elementary!

So now that there’s a new level out there you know what that means, right?  Time for another Turbo Tappin’!  So with that let’s jump right in a Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 40!

If you work from start to finish on Level 40, with out using donuts to rush it, it will take you 7 days, 12 hrs to complete!  So basically about a week’s worth of content.  So don’t RUSH it…you never know what might happen in the coming days…so save those precious donuts for the premium content and don’t rush your games!  (that’s what we’re here for!  To senselessly spend donuts to rush the game so you don’t have to!)

Enjoy Level 40 Tappers!

  1. I was worried about the price to build the factory, even though I’m at level 57, my game play just hit level 40 (younger sibling messed with my game and sold nearly everything, including premium. So I’m trying to gain everything back after years of hiatus. I also used the X5 generator to level up.) With much relief, my factory only cost me $150,000 to build. Have they changed the price, or did something go wrong? Not complaining though! ☺️👏🏼

  2. Is Part 2 of this quest or the whole quest for that matter seasonal?
If not I have yet to have my Lisa start her part and I am currently lvl 45…please help.

    • The questline is not seasonal. Could be an issue of you having too many quests open. How many tasks are currently in your task book? It could also be an issue of not being ready to build it just yet. What was the last building/character you unlocked/built?

  3. I’ve been level 40 since it came out and Skinner gas yet to start the Chocolate Pain quest. I’ve tried putting Springfield Elementary in the box, which brought Skinner along with, and put it back but to no avail. No other quest lines going except Sanjay’s Apt (saving up for it and Choco pain in case that starts) and misc. single tasks. Have I missed out?

    • Quite possible you are not at the Level 40 tasks yet. If you are still working on previous level tasks, you may need to finish those before Skinner will start. His stuff is part of normal game play so you have certainly not missed out. What tasks are you currently doing? If you check that against the walkthroughs, you’ll know what level of gameplay you are on. This is completely separate from you XP level.

      • The only tasks that are up are building Sanjay’s House and a dozen or so “one shot” tasks like Make Comic Book Guy eat at Krusty Burger and Harvest Roses at Cletus’ Farm. They just seem like fillers as there are no immediate quests to follow up on. I am a several times a day player for about 8 months now so I don’t think I’m behind in tasks.

Ok silly question ,,, i didnt know about quests until i downloaded this app a couple weeks ago ….. I”m on level 40 ,, so does that mean i did all the quests or do i have to go back to level 1 n start the quests on here ? Also if i dont have Ahh Fudge does that mean i do the level 40 quests ??

    • Welcome to the madness that is the Addicts!! 😉

As for the lil number level at the bottom of the screen, that is your XP level. It means you have earned enough experience to be able to unlock all the items in the game thus far. What you want to watch for is your actual Game Play Level. This is determined by what previous questlines in the prior levels you have finished. Our tips and tricks section in the main menu will be a great help to you. Poke around in it. Make sure you get Jebediah if you dont have him.

Anywho…quests. We have a great walkthrough section that will let you know all the items in each level that must be completed. Once one level is done to a certain point, the quests and the items in the next level will open. (This varies each level.) So you will want to check out the Walkthroughs to see what you have completed and still need to complete. They also help to let you know what character starts off each quest so you have them available to do it. So if you have not yet completed the quests on lower levels, you need to get them far enough to be able to start up level 40.

  5. Part 15 is so unfair. I will not be able to complete the quest series in time because it takes 10 kids 24 hours to do part 15 and since I could not purchase the premium characters sheri & terri and Jimbo I will have to endure another 24 hours = 8 to complete 16. I will run out of time. I am very displeased =(

    • My suggestion, send feedback to EA on items such as this. They grow and learn from each event and our feedback. They’ve made changes to our games from it. Feel free to contact them. 😉

    • Yeah, that’s kind of a scam. With Easter over, I’m finally progressing the Chocolate Pain quest line (I had not even started Ralph on Pt 1, because the eggs were a much higher, time-limited priority).

I’m now up to Pt 15, and I have all my kids doing the “Gang Up on Cocoa Beanie” task – all 9 of them. Unless you pay for a premium child (wow, that sounds wrong), you have to lose another day.

Speaking of which, why is it that “Squeaky Voice Teen” isn’t classified as an adult and therefore doesn’t get to drink at St. Patrick’s Day, but also isn’t classified as a child and therefore doesn’t get to beat up Cocoa Beanie?

  6. Hi, I finished Part 11 with Dolph (I don’t have Jimbo or Kearney) days ago and Marge has yet to trigger Part 12. Anyone else run into this problem? :o/

    • Try to see if you can trigger Marge to start. Store Moe’s (what she came into game in) and see if it pulls her and Moe out of the game. (If Moe is busy collecting eggs, wait til he is done). Once it is stored, log out, restart device, log back in, replace Moe’s. See if that helps to trigger the task.

Just make sure that is shows no icon in your task bar saying Dolph is not complete. If no icon, then you should be ok. 😉

      • Thanks Bunny! And of course right after Marge came out of her 24 hours of “Protest… Something” she kicked things into Chapter 12. I’ll keep the jumpstarts in mind if any of the characters seem to be stalling out in the future. 🙂

  7. lauramcdonagh

my game appears to be stuck on pt 8…

the last task I completed was make Krusty, Miss Hoover & Smithers get carbareducated… . Miss Hoover has now been free for at least 48 hours and she hasn’t started anything…

    Any ideas anyone?

I’ve been playing for a yr and a half and never seen anything like this happen before :\

    • And they all show as the task completed in the task bar? There is nothing left when you look in there for them to do?

If so, you can always try to trigger the next part. Store the buildings that will take the characters involved out of the game. The Ah Fudge factory will pull her out. Burns Mansion will pull Smithers. Krustyburger will pull Krusty. Put the factory and/or all in your storage inventory. Exit the game. Restart your device. Enter the game again. Put them back. See if that triggers the next step to start. Just make sure first they all do not show as still needed to complete the cabareducated tasks.

Let us know if that helps. 😉

    • Try storing the Ah Fudge Factory and place it again. This should help trigger the next task. 🙂

      • lauramcdonagh

they definitely show as completing the tasks and there’s nothing related to this quest line at all in my task book but thanks both, i didn’t think of storing the buildings. i’ll store them later on and hopefully that will help 🙂

  8. Oops. I sent miss Hoover on the part 6 date while beanie was still on a mission. Now miss Hoover is gone. Where do they go on this date. I can’t find her. I’m hoping she times out and comes back.

  9. Sounds like a fun update. I assume they used Ralph so much in the quests because he and Lisa are currently the only second-graders in our town. Wouldn’t make sense for, say, Bart to do quests with Miss Hoover.

Anyway, I’m leaving Part 1 in my taskbook until the Easter update ends. I must have Ralph constantly collecting his Easter egg (he’s been at it since the update started…) and besides, that’ll give me something to do while waiting for Whacking Day and raging over the fact that I didn’t get Shary Bobbins.

  10. queenofstarz37

Level 340? wow there was a jump 😉

  11. “If you work from start to finish on Level 340, with out using donuts to rush it, it will take you 7 days, 12 hrs to complete!”

I didnt realize there were 300 extra levels I was missing out on! Hahahaha.

    …still pacing…

    • lol I’m here I’m here. Safe and sound in the comfort of my own chaotic office. 🙂

      • Good…phew…now if Bunny was okay, I could go to work…those trees refuse to cut themselves…

      • Good…phew…now if Bunny was okay…then I can go back to cutting trees…
Reply attempt #3… my words just go “poof”, and disappear… 🙁

        • lol I got 2 posts on it. Just trying to go through comments and catch up at work 🙂
And Bunny’s ok. She’s just sleeping lol

  13. 600 000!!!!!!! You must be kidding!?????????

    • Nope, that’s the price of the new building. Level update buildings always cost a lot.
But hey…so many tappers were complaining about not having anything to spend in game cash on, and that they had a huge bankroll sitting in their town, I guess EA figured “hey Level 40 players have tons of money they can afford this.”
While I know that’s not always the case…I think they’re starting to respond to those players that like to gripe and moan about updates not favoring those with large in game cash accounts.

  14. if I get up to 150 or 180 donuts which new one I should get luna or crazy cat or liza music teacher or apu wife? I’m at 137 donuts

    • ooo that’s a hard one. Fortunately, they’re all permanent additions to the game. Personally I’d go with Luann. She unlocks a really fun and long questline and you’ll finally be able to unlock the Fleet-A-Pita 🙂

  15. Was it really necessary to require Ralph that much while we still need him to collect eggs? Thanks, EA.

    • Frustrating I know, but if you start him on the first 2 hr task then you can build the factory. At that point you can just wait until Easter is over (or you stop needing eggs) to finish the update. Fortunately, it’s a level update and not limited-time so there is no rush to complete it. 🙂

      • That’s exactly what I’ve done. Noi that I’ve finally managed to find the Fabergé Egg in my A Game after a week of endless tapping, there’s some rising hope to get enough baskets so that I can transfer some of those collected pink eggs from my B Game so that I still have a chance to get the Blocko Store. I’d be pretty sad to miss that as a Lego fan.

      • Bah, I think I’m going to do just that. I hadn’t clicked on this post until about 20 minutes ago, I knew just enough to know that Ralph was needed for 2 hours so I figured I could spare him – good to know that he’ll be needed a lot more than that once the factory gets built. It’s alright, I already sent Homer lobbying for tobacco control due to a major lull in my game yet not being to buy more land or buildings because of a $600K building on the horizon. Homer will get back to stealing eggs after his civic duties in a few hours and when easter is all over he’ll go have a drink with Sanjay, while Ralph’s edumacation can wait at least until Johnny Fiesta’s and the Egg Council Guy are mine. :]

  16. You said “anyway” instead of “anyhoo”… 🙂 🙂 🙂 :p …love it!!!
