Easter has arrived in Springfield! And with the Easter event finally comes a new store for our Springfield’s, Fireworks, Candy & Puppy Dogs! Where else can you buy pure happiness? While many of the Easter items are limited-time, Fireworks, Candy & Puppy Dogs is not.
Now, I’m sure you’re asking ‘Should I Spend Donuts on This?’ Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this store full of sunshine to YOUR Springfield!
Building: Fireworks, Candy & Puppy Dogs
Donut Price: 60 donuts
Dimensions: 8×6
Payout: $55,5xp Every 1hr
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Pros:
-Comes with a new permanent 2hr task for Ralph (play with Puppies, earns $175, 40xp)
-Store with a fun and unique design that will add a splash of color to your Springfield
-Improves your Consumerism ratings, one of the hardest to max out in the game (with out multiple Kwik-E-Marts)
-Reasonably priced for a premium building.
Cons:
-Ralph is the only character that interacts with it.
-Odd dimensions so might not fit so nicely in your shopping area, if you have one
-Very busy design to the building. While certainly unique, it’s also very busy. Could distract from your other designs.
Final Thought:
Personally, if you have the donuts to spend, I say go for it. This is a store I snatched up with I saw it available in the store and I have plans for it to go in my beach area of Springfield. Just reminds me of those Firework stores you see down south (something we don’t have up here in Jersey). Also REALLY like the fact that it does have a character interaction with it, even if it’s just one character. It opens up a new 2hr task for Ralph, and we all know it’s always nice to keep him busy!
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do. However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process. The Fireworks store will still be there in a few weeks. So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get it.

I see Lisa running around and huffing and puffing in a few of my friends towns. What job is she doing? What do you need to have her do this?
It happened quickly, but I wanna say it was part of the Dewey Largo quest line. When she was rounding up the family for a meeting or dropping off an invitation. I could be a bit off though. Sorry. I rushed through many of them to get the info out for the blog and I remember seeing her run around and huff similar to when Milhouse chased her at Valentines. I just can’t remember which questline of the many I pulled it was. I can try the files to see if they help. If I am successful, I will let you know. 😉
I haven’t gotten that yet and I finished the Largo quest. Maybe level 40?

So do you get to SEE the puppies? Cause if I get to see Ralph play with puppies I think I’d be sold. I’m already thinking of how much I’m gonna miss having all these adorbs bunnies hopping everywhere, so 2 hrs of puppies might be nice! Thx for any info to help me make this oh so important decision!!

I guess you can make him play Wiggle Puppy out front, but the task takes place inside. The building does however animate once he goes in. Fireworks go off outside, windows light up with what looks like puppy shadows through the glass, Pinwheels out front still spin.
Disappointing! I think I’m just going to spend my donuts on crazy cat lady instead – at least I know she has lots of animal interaction!!
I bought it mainly for the consumerism rating boost plus it is so silly looking – I had to have it! I like the beach area idea for placing it! Currently mine is next to the Blocko store and Ah Fudge as the kiddie part of town. And thank you for suggesting to wait on the golden eggs, I still don’t have Shary, father Sean or one of the topiaries, but willing to continue to try my luck (?) until the last day. Then donuts may be consumed…
I’m right there with you…no Fr. Sean or Shary…but waiting till the last possible second to see if I can win them for free. 🙂

I would LOVE to take credit for the KL 3D art, but that would be a mistruth…..and I don’t like to lie. I too, “borrow” ideas. It’s part of the beauty and communal sharing of the game. Have your husband search for Wookiee’s awesome post..”Krustyland in 3D”…the original designer is a player name SHELFCLEANER….then a player named Steven Itman made a version of the structure. I copied his version and made my own changes. Now the Go Kart track…that’s all mine (although I’m sure there are many more like it in the tapped out universe). Feel free to “burrow” anything you like in both my lands…I find it to be a high compliment.
P.s……Wookiee and Bunny (among many more, Vivoy..DaPimp..Sara Mary….list goes on and on) are the true 3D masters…😉

Hey there Alissa, this was my first premium building purchase…I like it.
As an update, I got 56 fences…will “level up” in just minutes so that’s 3 more donuts…above 200 now…still after that lego store(we all know that’s what it is)
Oh and I have a pink basket…still sick but must work… 🙁

I am very tempted for this as it is quite reasonably priced for a building with no characters and it actually gets used unlike some that have come before (museum I’m hinting at you)

I thought the same thing and then pulled the trigger on it. For me it’s going on my beach front area. Reminds me of a lot of stores I saw as a kid when we’d go to the beach. 🙂
Gotta love the Jersey shore! Many moons ago my family had a house at Seaside, way before the show. I still miss that place. Anyway, I put my FC&P at the beach too, next to Ah Fudge. I know it’s kinda big, and a factory, but I wanted to put Ah Fudge ON the boardwalk because where else do you buy fudge?
I want a Taffy store for the boardwalk lol

It’s cute, I got it, I love it but don’t know what to do with it. My town is a mess right now but I’m waiting till the Easter event is over. I have to decide what to do with 4,378 new fences

I know I am crazy, but I really like the fences…both of them. And the gate. I have a few design ideas in mind. I actually would love some more. One thing I still wish for is “trade of goods”. I would happily take them off your hands. 😛
I do like them and will come in handy with landscaping. I’m soon to start a huge remodel so I’ll appreciate them more soon
