As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
We were able to acquire some pretty interesting items during this event so far and many of you were wondering just what the heck you would do with 50 pieces of fences? Where would you put it? The design artist in me, I have a ton of ideas I want to put into play. I will be tweaking my town over the next week to put into place some of those ideas in my head.
In the meantime, I wanted to see what YOU have done so far with YOUR Easter items. I asked you to show me and here are the results…(FYI I am doing something a lil different this time. I am just putting the “artists” name. I want YOU to tell me what you notice in the pics. 😉 )

Thanks for including me 🙂 I really did start off serious making an Easter park, but I have gotten so many extras that I didn’t have anything to do with it yet so hence the EXTRA CRAP. I do enjoy bunny zapping, but the redundant decor is overwhelming. Maybe I’ll find something more constructive to do with it later.

Don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but the pastel picket fences almost perfectly match the colors of the Johnny Fiestas building.
A good use for these that doesn’t scream “holiday item that’s totally out of place for most of the year.” 😉

Love MissPandi and cxconor cybersilly use of the fences and the Easter parks look great.
I think we are a tad early with using the Easter stuff and maybe we could revisit this theme in a few weeks? Though the Easter parks can be enters for next week showoff.
Well a lot of people are already asking what others have done with the items. I just wanted to get an overall kinda “where are you now” look at the decorations. Once the event is over and everyone has their complete haul, then more can focus on redecorating further. 😉
It certainly given me ideas and as I resolved to missing some of the items unless I spend doughnuts it was timely.

What is the item in the center of the first pic? (The one by AC1977b). Ive never seen that before, it kinda looks like a big stone tablet.
Stone Mayan calendar that was part of an episode tie-in Halloween 2012. One of those things that shows he’s an old school tapper.

Wow! I don’t know what exactly Alunited was intending to build with the fences but it looks like a castle to me and I LOVE it!!!!!! So cool. And I wish I had as many Kang & Kodos as misspandi. A gaggle of aliens! overall, cool designs by everyone, you all have some inspiring ideas.

Thanks for the add….just finished the first of many visits to SF and KL. It was just as I had hoped…….AWESOME!
Hehe oh the “extra crap” one makes me so happy 🙂 also all the great 2d and 3d art, and creative use of fences! Love the fireworks store with the trees and pastel fences. Too many good designs!

I’m looking forward to Parks next week. My Springfield Park is just sitting empty. Eventually plan to put the Premium Stage there with benches for people to watch the show, but that still will leave plenty of space and want a nice park like atmosphere and drawing blanks on what else to put there. (Not to mention their may be a scavenger hunt word in next weeks Showoff!)
