Well a new little Episode Tie-in Update has hit our games! And with it comes Macaroni’s Shed, a new premium decoration for your Springfield! With that limited-time label on it I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Macaroni’s Shed to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this horse shack to your town…

Unique?: Yes
Bonus: 0.75% Bonus
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +300
Can Be Placed: Anywhere in Springfield…well except the street of course 😉
Pros:
-Animated
-0.75% bonus on all cash and XP
-Can be placed anywhere in Springfield (this includes Squidport)
-Relatively small in size, so won’t take up too much room
Cons:
-Not associated with any characters or tasks.
-Small bonus awarded
-Only adds to vanity, the easiest to max out
Final Thought:
This one is a toss-up for me. The completest in me spent the donuts, and it’ll go nice with the next redesign I have in mind, but the practical side thinks it might be one you can pass on. In my opinion unless you have a good spot in mind for it, you might want to pass on it.
Of course that’s my opinion and in the end it’s your call. What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice. We can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think. Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME decoration and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before the event is over if you’re thinking about it.

I noticed that most of the time the premium decorations we get for episode tie ins are only in the episode for like 5 minutes
Do these limited time Tie items, ever come back round in a Simpsons yard sale for example ?
We never know. Up to EA if anything returns. Most of the episode tie ins, I have not seen come back.
I’d pretty much already decided I wanted it for my “backwoods hillbilly forest area”. It will fit in quite nicely somewhere between the farm , still, & Nelson’s 🙂
I bought it simply because I am all about having as much of the limited time stuff as I can get my sticky donut covered tapping fingers on. I placed it behind Springfield Downs for now, until as mentioned, it will go in with Willies Shack area I plan on building in the next couple days!
No hesitation for me. I bought right away. Im imbarrassed to say but I wasnt sure what or who the heck it was peering out the slot in the door. I dont remember him in any episode. But needless to say it went near my reindeer in cletus’ farm.
I bought mac’s shed and stuffed it in the are area where I have cletus’ s farm and willies shack. Looks a little hillbilly to me. I should know because I am a bit hillbilly lol.

I quickly grabbed it and put it next to Lincoln’s cabin. It kicks ass.
I think I took about 2 seconds to decide to buy this. Of all the odd ball decorations this one is actually very useful in town decorating. Mine went right to Kamp Krusty. It could be used for many things when you needed a small shed. Maybe a Christmas tree lot or a car lot? Or as mentioned, next to Cleatus’ farm. Next to Willie’s shack. I dunno, I just think it’s very usable.
I agree. Usable in my mind, but I’ve got a plan in mind for it. 🙂
I got it and put it behind my guinea pig rescue. Now I’m thinking of making it a separate island in Squidport. I’ll play with it this weekend to see where I like it the best. ** Something about being on a deserted little stack of wood in the middle of Squidport seems very appealing right now. **

Well I’d buy it if the game would actually let me play instead of showing me a spinning donut followed by exiting out to iOS. Hopefully EA will extend this event based on people not being able to play due to bad baseline deployments. I agree with someone else that they should roll everyone back to the Easter baseline until they fix the problem.
Pass
I don’t love when the items come out before the show and you can’t judge if you really want them until after the show airs (by which time you have mere hours to decide before they pull them). It’s a savvy business move, but my decision to buy is based on a) how significant it was to the show and (b) if I actually like it and feel it fits in well – this one is easier to decide in advance.
A good example is the Strupo statue. A forgettable moment and decoration – so glad I didn’t spend donuts on that! But who’s to know in advance? (And of course, the truly OCD – even worse than me – can’t resist anyway, right? ;))
good example, I hardly see Strupo in neighbours towns. But for the von Sydow factor (and love of capers), I had to get one for the bars.
So basically an outhouse! Placement could be in woods as others mentioned, next to farm, Abe’s cabin, near a cluster of brown houses, maybe the gerbil place or even Krusty’s campground! I will prolly get it but i want to see the episode first! 🙂
I agree, would look great next to cletus’ farm or next to the feris wheel on the squidport, so it looks like a ticket stand, BUT, I’m a freemium only player so wouldn’t buy it myself xx

I bought this one too. I didn’t place it anywhere special, my buildings are kind of just placed in a cluster at this point lol. I think I’m gonna have to expand more and clean up my Springfield. It looks like another catastrophe hit it.
