Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. Nothing new in TSTO this past week, but something could be on the horizon this coming week. What do YOU think will happen? In the NHL the Kings and Blackhawks will face off in game 7 tonight to see who will face the NY Rangers for the Stanley Cup. The NBA finals are set and the Heat and Spurs will face off later this week in game 1.

Last weeks today count was 427. So yep we beat that one. And that was for the whole week! No wonder why gmaDar cant keep up. I looked back at some in like feb mar and there were under 100. Is it just catching on now or does it go in waves?

Cyber had his “Brian Griffin” facebook banned, and Tiny co. copied everything for him and put it on his new profile on Saturday. He spent money too and didn’t lose anything.. Those people are awesome. But I understand not even wanting to risk it.
Uh Huh…but I meant more for the technical issues that seem to link to the Facebook feature within the game. Started with Bruce…so many others. I just don’t want to spend the time waiting for the issues to be fixed if I can avoid them all together. That…and it allows me to design in secret and keep surprises for the site. LOL. 😉

Looks like caveman is a little late to the party. I spent the last week binge reading Marvel comics on their Unlimited app… gah, so many books, so little time! I’ve still managed to pop into my Springfield from time to time to clear out hand shakes, but I’ve been feeling a little bit of burn out ever since Easter ended.

This thread has been pretty funny, has brought a smile to my face much more than once. I’m glad last week is over also, I know it was pretty tough on a lot of us. I’m not used to everyone being so quiet (especially me). Do we have our Bunny back now? I love Wookiee, but can’t get his image out of my head, so it kinda distracts me a little (men do that to me ya know).

When you try all of those on… do you ever think when the last time the people before you showered? or if they have some “issue”. Yuck!
That’s why you wear “protective” layers when trying them on and I ALWAYS wash my clothes before wearing them. No matter what store I buy them from or what clothing it is. If I could wash shoes I would too. That is why I always ask for a brand new pair from the back room. 😉
Eww, definitely have to wash new clothes, even have a set of purple (my fav color) sheets that I haven’t put on the bed because I haven’t washed them yet. I’m picky about my sheets too, I have several sets, I find a set I like & buy like 4 sets LOL
I like to have them all soft n comfy…not from package. So I wash them in my yummy fabric softener first. Then put them on my bed.
I sleep sans anything, so soft sheets are a must for me.
Gotta have something soft to lay on. Makes it soooooooo much better. 😉

No this weeks was a long one. Plus I had to work Fri and Sat. I had all of my written work done so all I had to do tonight was format and proofread. There was a lot of formating!!! I was getting angry towards the end. It ended up being over 2000 words and 5 pages long with 11 pt font.

Not excuses, I got it done didn’t I!! It was a rough week, Had to do 5 assessments, then had to reflect on the different categories each assessment and then the assessment as a whole. Then reflect on the outcome of all the assessments and how this information will help me with my future career and education. icarumba! That was just one paper. I also had to do a case study on conflict resolution.

I think we are on level 2 fire watch. If you get caught its a huge fine! Level 2 you cant even go hunting! Cant even use sparklers. I got a $300 fine for a small fire pit fire in my back yard on a level 1. I cant imagine a level 2 fine.
We have big dogs, anyone pulls up out front & we know it. We have small bonfires all the time. Besides BPD are too busy doing other things like pulling people over with broken license plate lights who were more than obviously rearended recently. Even Homer would have been smart enough to figure that one out. (sooo glad I got a new car!)

I haven’t been here much lately but I ask now for prayers. Today has been really difficult for my husband and myself. I don’t want to drag the mood down, but we have had a very rough time today and I would really appreciate everyone’s support. Thank you, love all of you here.

Thank you so much. We lost a very good friend to PTSD suicide and just after saying our final goodbyes, we lost one of our pets. It has been very difficult and I truly appreciate the support here that spans far beyond our beloved game.
You got mine. I was in a similar boat. Memorial Day took someone very dear from me only 2 hours after seeing them. Yesterday said my goodbyes. Still unreal. Lean on those around you for support. Everyone will mourn in their own way. Some need hugs, some need laughs, some need smiles, some need silence…
Don’t hold emotion in. It helps to let it go. Don’t be afraid to yell and scream and throw stuff. Find a nice remote spot in the woods or desert and throw rocks and scream at the world.

Oh Bunny, that is so terrible :'( Definitely not a good week.
A really @!*#$)(@&#+*&$ week…to put it lightly. Lol. I will be OK though. Always find my way back. Small lights in the darkness that lead me to the sun again. My mind and eyes are set on others though. Always will be. I want to make sure THEY are OK. I just need the laughter back. That is what soothes all. That is what makes the healing work. Laughter, love, and smiles. That is what makes this silly lil blog such a great place.
If I’m ever down, I know I can come here and find love, laughter, and acceptance. Yes, this is a great blog 🙂

Yes. My deepest sympathy to you. This seems to be a bad time for many . For me it marks 10 years since the funeral of my youngest son, 36 years old. The wounds get smaller but they never really heal.
My one wish is to have my children and grandchildren outlive me, my heart breaks for you.

I want to preface this by saying yes, I vandalize. However, I generally only do it when there is nothing left to tap in a neighboreeno’s town. Nor do I mind being vandalized. Even the occasional half star rating slip doesn’t bother me, you can get it back in a couple hours anyway.
That said, my question for the community is, why do you think that so many players choose to vandalize BEFORE tapping on another building?
I mean, help me out nrighboreenos! I got a stadium, a bowling alley and even a shack that are BEGGING to be tapped, but time after time, I log in and clean graffiti!
Do you have the same thing happening in your Springfield? Does it bug you?
I’m lucky and have the privilege pf communicating with my neighboreenos. Before I knew most of them though I always liked to graffiti because I thought it was in the true spirit of The Simpsons. I’ve enjoyed many a tag war with my friends and family. I can understand folks not wanting their conformometer to drop but honestly never really bothered with it myself. Just my thoughts.

Anarchy, it’s the ornery streak in me. I still occasionally tap a high paying building, but will still tag at least one if it’s available. I love being tagged/vandalized/whatever you want to call it. I actually encourage it, it’s a form of interaction between neighbors. That’s just me, not the opinion of others.

Has anyone else noticed FREE donut amts going up when visiting neighbors? So far today I’ve gotten 4 that I can remember-maybe 5! I’m loving it! Usually I get 1-2/day on average, but today has been awesome! Just thought I’d share my excitement 🙂

I got cool Lisa a few days back. Halfway thru the questline. I have probably gotten close to 15 donuts since then and have been using them to speed up the main questions because I am so far behind. When I build the penitentiary I went from 21-23. Finally got grandpa yesterday. I think there is a slowness on getting the main quests for me cause I will go days without getting anything. Oh well.
Oh no… don’t use them to speed up quests. It’s worth waiting.

I was on level 19 main quest line so I would speed up the tasks to be able to get buildings started. I never speed up buildings, I put them in my 24 hour task time which is usually around 4pm that way I am not starting something at the wee hours of the morning. I ran out of donuts, and just had to send lisa and bart to hang out at the krustyburger, really for a whole 24 hours!! What is wrong with these people??

I’d like to go back to school & get a degree in Pharmacy mgmt., but it’s a 4-5 yr degree, no cuts, no butts, no coconuts. I retire in 3 years, so I could do it while working. Only problem is I have a dislike for teachers that know less than me LOL
Yeah I am back!!! gmaDar you could do Pharm Tech. That isnt too long to get the certificate and pass the state test. like 12- 18 mo. I know some people who dont even take the classes, they just study on their own and take the test. Do you like working in a call center. I use to do Pharm Prior Auths for an unnamed insurance company that actually has their mail-order facility over in Buck and a call center in Glen and Tempe. I was over in Tempe, too far for you to travel unless you get a place over there. They pay really good!!!
I can transfer & do pharm tech w/o school, they do OTJ training, but the techs don’t get paid squat. I get paid more after 28 yrs.
