In a collaborative effort between TSTO Topix, TSTO game and TSTO Addicts, we want to feature YOU! Your town, your words anything/everything about YOU! Each month we’ll pick a handful of readers across the three blogs to be featured in our Monthly Shout Out, where we’ll feature your town and some fun information about you. Then at the end of the Shout Out we’ll let the TSTO Community vote for their favorite. That winner will be declared our Tapper of the Month!
Well….YOU entered and we narrowed it down to the top 5 and then YOU voted as a community of Tappers and picked the one you think is most deserving of being called the June Tapper of the Month!

“Hi my name is Adam and my user ID is weeksy2 I’m a 33 year old from Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. I started playing TSTO in the Halloween episode last year and have been addicted ever since. I spent most of my time just playing solo so built my town slowly, but recently went from no friends to 75 over night. I am now just waiting for the updates and new episodes so recently went through a full rebuild. Hope you like it as I’ve spent countless days on it and am really pleased with the end result, except I’ve now been warned about 4500 items. So please consider me for tapper of the month as this game has taken over my life haha. I love the forum and appreciate all the help and info you guys throw out to us, keep up the good work.“

What does “warned about 4500 items” mean?
There is a limit to the amount of decorations you can put into a game before it starts to really impact it. Like causing texture glitches, slowness, more possibility of being kicked out while playing, etc.

I have a design using the krav kalash stand, homers car, clause co, and the Empire State Building from Halloween. It looks just like the scene from homer vs the state of New York. The only problem is that since the 9/11 attacks, and the conspiracy regarding that episode (google it if you don’t already know about it) I don’t know who might be offended by it. So addicts, and advice?
I would say it depends on how you design it. If done in poor taste, people may take offense. If done just as a building…go for it. 😉
Well to me, it’s in good taste but to someone who has not seen the episode, putting a vaguely Arabic looking stand in front of a twin towers could very easily be interpreted as bigotry. I do not mean anything like that by it, it is simply a very clear reference to the show. An episode that aired 4 years before the event I might add.
It really should be fine. Looking forward to seeing the design.
Woohoo. That’s awesome!!! Thanks to everyone who voted for my town, I’m glad everyone liked it. Thanks to all the people who have sent friend requests and I’ve enjoyed looking through all my new neighbours towns. Thanks to the forums for running the comp and giving us continued support and info for the game we love so much.

I’m almost eligible to apply to be tapper of the month. Just a couple more months and the valentines day contest is behind us, woohoo! Then I can start facing month after month of cruel rejection, until one faithful month, I wake up to find my name shortlisted. Then hopefully my many fellow Addicts will again vote for me as they did in the VDay Contest.
