Hey there Hoppereenos. More and more information I know you will want. After you have collected a total of 1450 Emblems (and completed Game of Stones Part 5), you will be able to unlock the Sacred Parchment from the Emblem Prize List (you will find it in your inventory). Once you place it into your Springfield, a questline will be triggered for the Ark of the Stonecovenant.
WARNING: LOTS OF SPOILERS AFTER THE FOLD!!!
What exactly is this? Well each day a “hidden” task within regular character tasks will not only give you extra emblems, but will also help you to gain even MORE FREE PRIZES for the Stonecutters Event. Every 24hours, another new task will be unlocked. (And NO…no donut speeding up on this one. All are date stamped for their release.) These tasks do NOT expire!
So the first thing is to unlock and place the Sacred Parchment.
Once you complete this part, you will then trigger the Sacred Parchment tasks.
Tap on the Sacred Parchment Wall and you will see the options of the tasks listed with scrolls. Open the one available.
You will then see the “secret/hidden” task for the day along with clues for you to figure out what character the task belongs to and the task that needs to be completed.
Since the items are timed and we love to help out, here is the breakdown of the dates and tasks that will unlock as the event plays out (Click to open larger image in a separate screen). This way you can know who to look for as soon as the task unlocks.
Each day there’s a task available you’ll see the Sacred Parchment floating over the top of the Sacred Parchment in your town:

So what are the additional Prizes that you will get with completing these “secret/hidden” tasks? Is it worth it? Well, here is the breakdown of what you can earn for free…
*After Completing/Solving 1 task: Stonecutter #21, Moe
*After Completing/Solving 5 tasks: Stonecutter #111, Abe Simpson
*After Completing/Solving 10 tasks: Stonecutter #22, Mayor Quimby
*After Completing/Solving 15 tasks: Stonecutter #66, Kent Brockman. Stonecutter #67, Arnie Pye (skin can only be used if you purchased Arnie).
*After Completing/Solving 20 tasks: Stonecutter #59, Smithers
*After Completing/Solving 24 tasks: Ark of the Stonecovenant
So plan wisely when you want to set the characters on their tasks to unlock all of these cool prizes. Not to mention you get an extra 50 Emblems for completing each one too.

How the heck r u supposed to get dougnuts other than when u level up or buying them with real money!!
Level ups, randomly come with cleaning up trash, randomly after achieving all friend prizes, every 300th pop Sideshow You in KL, other times EA decides to give them out like the 30+ during this event. The game does give them out but the only true way to get a bunch is spending your d’oh.

I’VE COMPLETED ALL THE SACRED PARCHMENTS AND RECEIVED THE ARK OF COVENANT AND PLACED IN THE GAME FROM INVENTORY. AFTER I CAME BACK, THE ARK OF COVENANT IS MISSING. LOOKED IN INVENTORY AND CAN’T BE FOUND. I TRIED DELETING THE GAME AND RESTART AND IT IS STILL MISSING.

So I’m really upset at the fact that I can’t do the last two because I just got to lvl 29 and I need to be 30. But I really do appreciate the help you’ve provided. 😀
Sucks that some folks weren’t at high enough levels for all the parchment tasks. If I could change it I would but beyond the option to skip each with 12 donuts, nothing to be done.
If you need to level up fast, buy the most expensive item you can a bunch of times and you will gain fast experience points.
Yes, but even if you’re at Level 30 it doesn’t mean you’ll unlock Herman. You have to remember that the characters unlocked is dictated by Level AND game play. So you can’t start Herman unless you end the requirements for Agnes 🙂
Whats the ‘explosion’ ment to be? Its on the move screen next to the inventory box? Not noticed it before n dont want to restart my springfield if its a clear everything button!

You know what really grinds my gears?
If you’re doing stonecutter’s quest with bart and lisa and just so happen to need one of your characters and realise you can’t use them cos the quest requires you to do two things at once. And now 20 of your characters can’t be used lame =_=
Every event or level update this kind of thing happens. Last Halloween it was practically Homer for everything. As for the 20 characters, you can really narrow it down to 4 or 5 who fit all types so you can use the rest. I found that Agnes, Quimby, Rod and CBG basically fit nearly all those types for the #1 tasks.
You can cancel someones task by placing the building that you unlocked them from in storage
I’m stuck on day 18. I haven’t unlocked Smithers yet, nor do I know how to. I’m level 26. Someone please help.
What was the last character/building you unlocked? Sometimes your XP level is behind your game play level & game play just needs to catch up
