Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No it’s not time for the secret meeting…that’s tomorrow. Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. STONECUTTERS HAVE ARRIVED IN SPRINGFIELD?! FINALLY!!!! How are YOU enjoying the update? Are you happen about the lack of game of chance this go round, or do you kind of miss the wheels and boxes? In the NHL the Kings and Rangers are in the finals…so far an exciting 2 games. Both into OT and both with the Kings beating the Rangers in OT! How do YOU think the series will play out? Belmont Stakes were yesterday…and California Chrome came up a bit short of the Triple Crown, what did YOU think of the race?
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, update fun and glitchs, horse racing, NHL, NBA, MLB or any other 3 letter leagues you can think of! Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Hey guess what my Chirpy Boy and Bart Jr. are doing right now?
They are eating at the Frying Dutchman as part of the FD quest!! (Yep I am pretty new to the game and only just built the FD.)
Anyway I know this post is old but I was just so excited to see them get their own task and I didn’t know where else to put it!

Has anyone run into a “freeze spot” since the update/event? There is this one spot that no matter what I try to put there – from a building to a bench or tree – my game freezes in the build menu, the yellow check mark highlighted, until the game just closes due to inactivity or I get frustrated and force quit the app … Not sure what to do – seems like its just one small spot that freezes my build …
Hm freeze spot is new. I have heard of items causing the game to crash, when you tap on certain items your game crashes. It could have something to do with the items glitch caused my the nuclear option…hard to really say
So if you leave a youngster eating a gulpwich for example, and the task completes and then time runs out for the days tasks – and you havent pressed the thumbs up… do you still get the bonus?
If the time runs out, that task will count towards the 4 tasks for the next day.

To some of my neighbors, if you see a new friend request, it is me (ish) I have taken over my Hubby’s town as my “b-town” and would appreciate the same great neighbors over there!
I don’t mean to be presumptuous and assume that you would add me (but I hope so!) but if you did what’s the name? I have a few new requests and want to make sure I get you. 🙂

I missed the initial update because I was on holiday.
Came back and started playing, I don’t think I’ll complete this questline without using donuts which is a no go because I play freemium.
I’ll enjoy it while it lasts and see how far I get.
Totally in love with new decorations, the spiral slide was a great new addition to my park.
Gutted I missed the ‘store all’ button, I think that would’ve been fun but better I did miss it because Of the issues it came with. Being able to hide roads etc is a great new feature I’m sure I’ll be using a lot in the future as with the census, I think that is amazing and I’ve already forgotten what it’s like to hunt for characters.
Being able to see how much bonus is accumulated is really handy, although, I’m disappointed to see what i have got (19% is dismal)
I think I’ve covered most of the thread subjects lol! *takes deep breath*
Things I would like to see in tsto;
Barney+bowlarama becoming a freemium purchase
Decrease in expansion prices.
More beach themed decs
More shops, doesn’t really matter what, just more of them.
A way to increase the conform-o-meter part without having to buy the hail ants sign, not sure which one it is, I really don’t like that sign and don’t know where I would place it, something nicer which fits into my sf a bit better would be nice 🙂

Well glad you’re back from vacation and can now get caught up on the Stonecutters! The good news is it’s a month long, so you’ve still got plenty of time. Best thing to do is just play your game and see where you end up the last week. 🙂

Yes a great update for sure, but looking to the future what would everyone like to see added? Here’s my incomplete list:
Monorail, like everyone else
Burns wooden plane, I need some cheap pills
More character skins
Pavement at half size, so I can have sidewalks
100% rotation in 45 degree increments, i know this one will never happen, but wouldn’t it be cool to be able to angle some stuff?
More as I think of it, what about you guys?

I would love character skins too- for different characters. I love this update for adding in a few of the others. But it really seems like the ‘same ol’ characters get the attention
A quest for everyone in town (except Lisa) called “You Don’t Make Friends With Salad” where everyone you select forms a giant conga line.
More than 151 Boardwalk tiles.
The ability to set all characters to a 1hr task or 4hr task or 8hr task in one quick click.
Cars placed on roads.
Love the fairly recent new ability to scroll directly from one neighbour to the next. But would love even more the ability to scroll from one neighbours Krustyland directly right to the next neighbours Krustyland (as opposed to their Springfield and then finding the Krustyland shuttle for every single neighbour).
The ability to leave messages for neighbours.
A global market area with the ability to trade items for cash/donut with neighbours.

Ps if you tap the Krustyland portion of the neighbors image (on the main friends screen) it takes you directly to Krustyland. But, you probably already knew that ;p

I just finished a 3D “supertemple” using the stone cutter fence for walls, easter fences for windows, the daycare center (under construction) and the scroll wall thingy for a door.
Anybody else done anythinf 3D yet?
I haven’t cd, but I’ve been short on time this past week.

I’m so torn… I know I’ll buy that ugly store, it’s a bargain. I want so many other things like you mentioned, though. I’ve had my eye on Barney from the beginning, I just wish he wasn’t so darn expensive! What kind of a Springfield is there without a (((((bellllch))))) Barney LOL

Barney is a good one and if you have The Plow King skin you’ll get the extra quests
I do have the skin from Christmas, it’s been sitting in my inventory just begging to be used LOL.
What is Springfield without Barney my advice is to of you save your doughnuts and buy the bowlarama
