Hey Howdy Hey Stonecutting Tappers!
The incredibly cool thing about the Stonecutter’s Event is not only do you earn prizes by collecting Emblems BUT you also earn more Stonecutter Skins in the Sacred Parchment Prizes. While you can find out more about the Sacred Parchment here, basically what it is is a daily riddle you must solve and send a character on a task. Once you sent so many characters on a task (1, 5, 10, 15, 20 & 24) a new prize will unlock for you. It really adds an AWESOME dynamic to the game!
So once you’ve solved your first Sacred Parchment Puzzle you’ll unlock the 1st free personal prize….#21 (aka Stonecutter Moe)! #21 is an all new skin for Moe that comes with a whole new set of tasks!
Let’s take a closer look at #21 and just what happens when he enters YOUR Springfield…

After solving your first puzzle #21 will automatically be awarded to you. Once you’ve unlocked him you’ll see this message popup:
If you don’t currently have Moe in your Springfield, Number 21’s skin will automatically go into your inventory until you’ve unlocked him and select it. Otherwise, Moe will automatically become Number 21:
Once you’ve unlocked him it will start some dialogue between Number 21 and Number 1.
Welcome to the Stonecutters, Number 21
Moe starts
Number 21: Ah, having a cocktail with the guys. It’s nice to not be the booze monkey who has to jump every time someone says, “I need another beer!”
Number 1: I need another beer! Moe, could you shamble down to the basement and fetch another keg?
Number 21: Why me? I outrank a lot of these guys.
Number 1: I know, but the kegs are large and must be carried on one’s back. We need a man with a good hump between his shoulders.
Number 21: Well, okay, I guess it’s nice to be wanted for my body.
Make Number 21 Restock the Stonecutter Keggery- 4hrs, Earns $190, 45xp
Once you’ve completed the one task Number 21’s questline will end.
As mentioned above this new skin for Moe comes with a whole new set of tasks & fun things to make Moe do. Let’s take a look at these new tasks…

Hey is the a way to find out what the next days number 1 tasks will be (simmilar to how you showed us the sacred parchment riddles) so that we can have an idea of which character to leave free for those tasks?
Keep in mind, this list was set in the files as GMT…but most games run on midnight YOUR time to reset. So keep that in mind when checking dates. Also, if you don’t finish a task in the 24 time frame…it rolls into the #1 task of the next day and kinda throws it off.

Me as a neighbor is not all that great. I am a bad neighbor. I get too busy with running the sites and playing numerous games for it that it is rough at times for me to make my rounds. If you want the full benefits that come from a good neighbor, there are so many other options. Lol. 😉
I just wish at least one of the tasks would be outside, so we could enjoy the new skin and earn XP and money at the same time!

And thank you to you guys for your puzzle calendar so I can send the next task at night or the day before in the case of a 24hr task like Skinner bird watching, and always have that days puzzle solved before breakfast.

Yes, I like this second set of prizes and particularly that these costumes are paying a bit more than the regular skins of basic characters, acknowleding that there was some kind of effort or investment to get them. I’m also very happy that they didn’t include a lenghty quest for each so that the primary and secondary quests don’t interfere too much with #1’s tasks and the parchment puzzles.
Overall, I’m very fond of how this event was designed. It does require regular effort but it’s also being rewarded.
