The Stonecutters Event has arrived. With all of the new Stonecutter Premium Items that are Limited Time ,it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that Limited Time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Stonecutter #2 to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Stonecutter skin to YOUR Springfield!
Character Skin: Stonecutter #2, Dr. Hibbert
Donut Price: 60 donuts
Pros:
-Comes with a 1 part questline
-Premium character earns 50% more on all cash and xp than a freemium character
-Completes part of the Stonecutter Collection
Cons:
-Pricey. 60 donuts is a lot to spend on a skin for a character.
-No outside tasks. While he does earn at a premium rate, none of the tasks are visible.

Final Thought:
Personally, this is in on the fence one for me. 60 donuts is A LOT to spend for a skin, especially one with no visible outdoor tasks. BUT the Completest in me wants it for my town AND the Simpson fan in me wants ALL of the Stonecutters! So this is one I’ll most likely purchase, but I’ll grumble a bit about what he costs. 🙂
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do, and this is one I’ll pull the trigger on. Whatever you decide just remember, this is a Limited-time skin…so if you’re thinking about it make sure you make your decision prior to the Stonecutter Event leaving our games July 2nd.

I’m still debating with myself on this one! The completest in me wants it but I’m not a REAL completist because there’s still a lot of things I pass on (the falcon, for instance).
I don’t have Jasper yet. I could buy him now but then he will still be there after the event is over (and the Stonecutter skin for him will be too, right?)
Yup, as long as you’ve unlocked the skin it’ll stay in your inventory until you get Jasper 🙂
And yes, I know they’re all rough decisions! I tried to pass on the falcon, but that little voice in my head kept saying…you need it! 😉
Not worth it
I don’t know which is correct, because I haven’t decided if I want to buy this skin or not, but the payout listed here (and I believe also on Number 51’s premium guide as well) is more than the ordinary premium rate. (I’m sort of a numbers person.) Is this an example of the Stonecutter Task increase? Some kind of secret conspiracy some ancient group might unleash to give their members a special monetary benefit?
It is. All the Stonecutters earn slightly more money than the usual payouts.

Some of my neighbours have as many as 44000 emblems. How is this possible please? I play regularly and have reached 11000ish so far.

They either rushed with donuts or use other means.
I have almost 100 friends (98 towns to tap), I have been playing very regularly, have not rushed with donuts, and have over 17000 emblems.
One tip: Go back and forth through your friends’ towns, only tapping the Lodges in their towns for your first 60 friend taps. Do not tap anything else. You will earn 5 emblems per tap that way, and so you will make 300 emblems on just your friend taps. Plus, if you check your Springfield and clear spied buildings every 2 hours, you will get the 5 emblems per tap that way. If all 99 friends visit you during the day and you clear all those buildings, you will have 1485 just from friend visits.
But, of course, I don’t recommend trying to tap your town every 2 hours. You will lose a lot of sleep that way. I’m an insomniac, so it doesn’t matter much to me. 😉

This also applies to f rinks ex when comparing the two different outfits. Also for all the event characters that aren’t premium they get a 10 increase on cash on there 1 hour jobs while in there robes compared to there regular outfit an 1 hour job like Moe for example. Are any of these new increases perminent

Since that’s the way they are programmed, I’d expect it to be the way it stays. Makes sense to me since they do require you to spend your precious sprinklies on them.

The premium characters tied to this event are actually earning more cash ex on there for example 1 hour task compared to kerny an other premium characters sent on a 1 hour task that are not tied to the event. Are these new increased payouts permanent? An try this normally f rink makes 106 in cash in a hour then switch him to his robes an he makes 116 a hour. This also ap to
Not related to this post but had to share this I have just completed pt10 of the stonecutters quests and went to krustyland after collecting from my buildings in springfield and I got lisa pop up saying something about taking a break incase we are been spied on then a ea one popped up and gave me 20 donuts to keep playing. Love it when I get free donuts keep them coming I say. Anyone else found this..

Sideshow Bob does appear in KL. In the past though, tappers reported their games krashing when they tapped him there. It’s been a long time since I saw him in my KL but he’s coded to cross between the two.
I figured since Frink’s was only 12 donuts and I wanted both, that averages 36 donuts each which is not so bad. 😛
I wonder why the huge difference in price between the two.
Probably because you already had to shell out donuts to get Frink in the first place, but Dr. Hibbert is free.

Hi guys o had a quick question doesn’t he actually make more experience an cash compared to a regular premium character and also wouldn’t that be more then 50% percent bonus as well also on that note is this a permineny change for all the new higher payouts or just for the event? Thanks for all you guys do.
The money they make on tasks is separate from the bonus. The Bonus adds to ALL the earnings. Not just from him. Premium characters have always paid out on tasks at a higher rate, as they are premium and should make more money.
