If you’re following along with Bunny’s Emblem Calendar, by now you’re all in the thick of emblem collecting and you should have (at least) unlocked the first two Emblem Prizes, the Sacred Parchment and #36, and be nearing collecting enough Emblems to unlock the 3rd Emblem Prize…the Chest of Sacred Artifacts!
Once you reach 6,500 Emblems collected you’ll unlock the 3rd free personal prize in the Stonecutters Event…The Chest of Sacred Artifacts! The Chest of Sacred Artifacts is an all new decoration for your Springfield that will earn you MORE EMBLEMS!
Let’s take a closer look at this chest full of artifacts and just what happens when it enters YOUR Springfield…

At 6,500 Emblems The Chest of Sacred Artifacts will automatically be awarded to you. Once you’ve hit the unlock number you’ll see this message popup:
Once you’ve collected enough emblems the chest will unlock and number 1 will auto-start a prompt for you to place it in your Springfield…

Number 1 Auto-starts after you’ve won the Chest of Sacred Artifacts
Number 1: There is no better opiate of the masses than shiny, new trinkets. This chest of artifacts will distract attention from our darkest machinations. Like jingling car keys when giving a baby a shot.
Place the Chest of Sacred Artifacts
Number 908: Ooo, let see what’s in our treasure chest! Holy hand grenade…ring with writing on it that makes me want to punch people….used shroud with some bearded dudes face burned in…*moans* There’s nothing good in here! This jeweled cup is too wide for drinking. Still, I guess I an use it.
Lisa: Oh my God! I think that’s the Holy Grail!
Number 908: Now it’s Daddy’s ice cream bowl.
Completed Task Earns 100 Emblems 10xp
As mentioned above this new prize will continue to earn you more emblems as the day/event goes on. The Chest of Sacred Artifacts pays out 20 Emblems every 8 hours! You should easily be able to get 40 Emblems (if not more) from the chest each day!
So there you have it my Stonecutting friends, the third prize of the Stonecutter Event!

Is anyone else Smither’s character stuck or frozen, or is it just me?

OOPS …. never mind. I visited my neighbors and as soon as I opened the first one i got the “You’ve won ….” emblem spash screen. Then I cleared my 3 actions with one of my neighbors, went back to my Springfield, and all was well with the prize counter.
Never ceases to amaze me when stuff like this happens in the game, but I’m glad I don’t have to worry about missing the next prize.
Is anyone else seeing a glitch/problem with the emblem prizes like this:
Earned item #5 (Money Pool) this morning. Placed the pool and launched the task to have Burns swim in the pool, which he did. When I checked the prize listing (tapped on the icon in lower right corner … looks like an “awards cup”) a bit later, the #5 prize is still dark, it tells me that I can complete the task for NEGATIVE 20 donuts, but it shows my emblem toal correctly (14,500).
I have no idea if this will be a problem when i get to prize #6, but it is concerning.
It’s a common glitch that’s been occurring, but looks like you’ve got it sloved. 🙂
John i am also having this issue, also with the money pool. I have tried closing the game, logging out of origin, and still have the issue. My emblem count is correct so we will see what happens when it is time for prize #6.

I think the glitch kicks in when you earn the chest with one device, then shortly thereafter open your game in a different device. Worked for me after reading about another tapper having this happen to him. Very exciting and worth a try if you haven’t got the chest yet!! Good luck!! Super fun event, btw, and continue to have so much more fun cause of tsto – love you guys, thanks for all you do! And so glad Easter didn’t cause you to quit the site! Got a little ugly for a bit, hoping it’s fun again for you guys too.
Nah we actually didn’t mind Easter…as crazy as that sounds! We just love the game and you guys, no quit in us 🙂 Plus it helps that Wookiee, Bunny & I are all really good friends…so we get to vent to each other when things get a little crazy 😉
I’m over the 4000 symbols mark and clicked on the pop up when I got stonecutter Krusty, but nothing happened after that? I don’t have the option to change Krusty to another skin or no dialogue popped up either. So weird. It won’t even show up in my character inventory that I got him.
Tap on Krusty does it show a toggle? ie 2 Krustys, where if you move left or right it’ll switch between them
No the slider to change krusty’s skin didn’t work. The last couple of stonecutters I got automatically changed my characters but for some reason krusty’s was put into my inventory this whole time! So problem solved!

I just found an extra chest in my inventory! I placed one yesterday after unlocking the prize but just spotted this extra one now. I still have the same amount of donuts so I didn’t accidentally buy it but this is another mystery that I am happy about too 🙂
I have seen a few other state they got a glitch of multiples. That is awesome. Put it out and benefit from the glitch. 😉
Still not got anything yet as I’m playing catchup having been away when the update came in. There seems to be alot of my neighbours who haven’t updated yet, do you think its fair to have a cull?
I pulled quite a few this weekend. Check your origin friends list (from inside TSTO on the neighbor screen) to see when they last time they played TSTO was.
Whenever there’s a new event I take the time to see when all my neighbors last played. If it’s been a few weeks then I delete them and post for new neighbors
I am really enjoying this event. I love that with the spying we get to see animations on buildings that usually don’t do anything. I just wish that someone would come and spy on my Clausco!

Do any of the prizes add an extra percentage of xp and money?
Nope they just offer a pay out of emblems. Once the event is over they’ll pay cash.
I’ve had the chest for a couple of days now and love it. Although I haven’t been able to play much over the weekend so haven’t yet got the full benefit of extra emblems.
Also think it very appropriate that Sky 1 in the UK has just shown the Homer the Great episode today. Managed to record it, which is a miracle as have only just got up from a sneaky afternoon nap.
I was able to finally rewatch the episode last night, such a great episode! Enjoy it! 🙂

Do you have to collect the 20Es? Or is it automatic? I haven’t been getting anything from this prize and I unlocked it two days ago…
You have to collect from it. BUT it’s a little emblem that appears over the chest when it’s ready to harvest. What might be happening is you’re clearing your town (from spies) and tap on it with out realizing thinking it’s an emblem from unspying. 🙂
I have unlocked it and am quite happy they are giving away a premium prize. Wish they would give at least a chance to get the other ones as well. I really want #51 but am unsure about spending the donuts on him.

I unlocked the chest yesterday. I do have to admit that this is the first event that I’ve managed to keep up with Bunny’s calendar and haven’t felt like I’ve been left behind the masses. Really enjoying the Stonecutters and love Homers catchphase when you select him 🙂
I wonder if all the Stonecutters skins will have a line from the song as a catchphrase? That would be cool if you could re-create the song by clicking on them 😀
