An Update From Bunny

Hey there Hoppereenos. Just wanted to say a huge “THANK YOU!!” to all of our many followers here. So many of you have become a great daily dose of joy and laughter for me and I appreciate it so very much. Just as we are an outlet for you to come and laugh, you give back to us…me especially…just the same.

EA has finally handed me back my game after “playing” with it over the last few weeks. They fixed all the issues I have had since January and then some. In compensation, they provided to me some pink sprinklies, a character, and a few buildings to compensate for the time without. (I was given the options of what I preferred most.) The open tickets and constant communications between me and EA through this process helped. It dated all my issues and made it simple for them to see the time without. In the end, it took a lil to get past the “front line” of customer support…but once to the right departments I was taken care of very kindly and professionally. I appreciated that.

Never fear though can’t keep this Bunny down for too long. I love putting up a fight for our readers and this game. I also have two AMAZING people here that I work with that will do the same.

A silly lil game, “silly” friends, and a community that has become my second home. I won’t ever stray too far…unless Alissa leaves the basement unlocked…then…FREEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!

  1. You KNOW the power (or fear) that The Google strikes in peoples hearts when they are able to purchase the rights to use Trademarked names for their Android OS versions.

    Now that you have all this power and access, bunzies, how about asking them to bring back Ol’ Gil for a little Father’s Day Donut Deal??? Considering their has been about 6 months and a number of events since Springfield’s own Willy Loman has appeared for all of us, and I am down on my sprinkles!

    (At some point I want the new premies).

  4. Yeah the kitkat issue sux, wife can’t play on her note 10.1 2014 edition running latest kitkat, so she’s stuck playing on here little phone. This is one reason I won’t update any of my devices to kitkat, jellybean for the win!

  5. YAY! For Bunny! Does this mean you’ll start some new 2D/3D art for us all to enjoy? And finally start that town rebuild! (Unless of course you were going for that post apocalyptic look…..then….NAILED IT!!)

  7. DaPIMP is very happy for you! Glad to hear that you stuck with it and never gave up. I like how they gave you choices when you got rewarded in the end, and now you can enjoy your game. Let’s just hope Alissa keeps that basement triple locked so you never run away from us! If you did, we would all be running around like crazy with carrots, Bunny water, and some traps trying to get you back where you belong.

  9. Hi Bunny, glad to hear you have your game back. I’m also a firm believe in “never give up!”.

    I’m really interested in the technical details of what exactly they did for you to resolve the issues? I have a ticket open with EA at the moment (I insisted they leave it open) which is device specific, and no surprises for guessing, it’s also a Samsung device on KitKat,

    I was told they were passing the issue to the Specialist team but I haven’t had an update yet (I’ve chased for one).

    I’m SO hoping that you’re going to say an update/hotfix is coming that will finally address the lag issues on all KitKat devices regardless of manufacturer.

    I can’t wait to play on the 10″ tablet but it’s just too frustrating at the moment.

    • Far as I know…they are still working on it. So hard with so many variations of devices. As far as what they did…I don’t know all the ins and outs. Just that I could not play that game for 2 weeks as they “tested” some things on it.

      • Well, the saga isn’t over yet. Last night’s update made no difference to the lag on the Samsung tablet 🙁

        I’ve found another person (through the forum) with the same device /issue and got them to add their ID to my open ticket with EA, so if you ever see a comment on here from someone with the same issue on a Galaxy Tab Pro (2014) then please tell them to search my ID on the forum to make themselves heard.

        We won’t go quietly EA! 🙂

    Hey there , Welcome back 🙂 ….. Also was hoping maybe u could help me ! I dont know if i havent been playing long enough or cause i dont watch The Simpsons every week on t,v but i dont understand how yo do some of the hints !! I understood ,,, lisa playing the sax n couple others but The black n white n read all over ? A newspaper , right ? There is nobody for that … Or am i toatly off n its the police ? Or instrument one ,,, thats not a person ……. Should i just give up : ( …. N u sent me a link on who”s in what group ,,,, pessimist , n so forth but i can”t find it ….. Feel silly here posting this but its driving me crazy !!!!! #aconfusedtapper

  12. Dragged out game issues are not fun at all! But it does help us (as bloggers) help others in a better way as we get first hand experiance. Having the support of a team and the community helps a lot! We are so lucky in that regard. Happy for you that it worked out 🙂

    Talk about really trying to win you over! Then I thought, how many donuts will I have to save up for her!

    • Well, I would LOVE if they did that. I still like to think me harassing them since last September to give me a Bunny event contributed to the Easter Event. 😉

      I wouldn’t mind Shauna having ears in the game. 😉

    Also,not trying to be nosy, I was wondering how many Donuts did you get and which character and buildings?
    I got 15 donuts because I thought that there was something wrong with my game and “reported” it to EA. It was during the Easter event when I noticed I wasn’t getting any baskets for a period of time (really slowed me down). EA then told me it was supposed to be like that and to “settle” matters they gave me 15 sprinklies.

    • You have to realize my game has been down for almost 5 1/2 months. So the amounts and compensation vary per each player, the issue, and time down. So what each person gets will differ from one to another.

      It really comes down to if YOU feel you were not compensated properly, then tell them.

      • Why did it take them 5.5 months to fix your game?

        • It was a deep rooted issue with my device itself. Not necessarily the game. There was an issue created by Kit Kat (OS of android for my Galaxy). Lots of technical hiccups in the game created by it not being very compatible. So they messed around with a lot of different things over the months to try and fix not only my device, but all the other Android devices having same issue.

      • I’m sorry for the lost progress you could have made and I understand that you issue was WAY bigger than mine. You might have misunderstood me, I don’t feel like they didn’t give me enough donuts. I didn’t deserve them anyway because just because I restated something doesn’t mean I should have gotten donuts. I also acknowledge the fact that for bigger problems they give more stuff. And it’s OK if you misunderstood I just read that comment again myself and it sounded like I was jealous. (I’m not good at putting feelings into words :/ ) Sorry to bother you and happy tapping! 🙂

        • Nope… no misunderstanding. Just explaining to you, as well as others that read it, that the payout of compensation will vary. If at ANY point you feel it is not enough, which I did, ask for more. All my tickets I had on file helped. They knew how far back it went.

          For others…if it was MORE than you thought…WOOHOOOO!!! Take them sprinklies and run! 😉
