How are my favorite Addicted Tappers this evening? How was your weekend? Do anything fun? Anyone spend some quality time at the beach or on the river/lake?
Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No it’s not time to ride down the Super Slide in Cybersilly’s Springfield (try saying that 10 times fast!) Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. The 4th of July Update will be winding down this week (on Wendesday to be exact)…have YOU been enjoying it? What do YOU think will come next? The World Cup Final was today, were YOU surprised by the outcome? My Yankees are on Sunday Night Baseball tonight….last game before the All-Star Break, will you be watching?

Now many started playing The Simpson’s Tapped Out in 2012 / 2013?
How many preferred when Players were rewarded by what they earned AND what was earned as a community?
How many felt that the Stonecutters Quest ended poorly (ie Devil’s Anvil does nothing)?
How many players from last year felt 4th of July quest this year was ‘meh’ (besides me)? I already have Rex – Diner – Fireworks – Liberty Bell (all won via quests last year, but players this year have to get ’em with donuts? This isn’t right!)
How many think we should get a. new update for the Pier / Krustyland that doesn’t cost donuts? (EA blew it by not having a Stonecutters Attraction). How come we still don’t have ALL of our characters getting access to Krustyland?
Anyone else (besides me) lose neighbors / players? (I had 30 in January, now down to 18 because people quit this game app immediately for whatever reason)

I’m kinda a new player to to… been playing tqfs since the beginning tho, my question is about the diner and Rex, I studied your “to buy or not to buy” post and saw that last year he was free and this time around hhe’s 90 doughnuts, have there been any other characters that followed this pattern of free, gone, cost doughnuts ……… then down the line free again??I’m debating getting Rex hoping that maybe he’ll be free again sometime in the future…. has that happened before?
The players at time of original release of items tend to get the better deal. It is the bonus of playing at that time. If they’re brought back, they usually will cost donuts.
kk thanks for that it was a far fetched idea but i had to ask, just my luck i wouldnt ask and just went ahead and spent the doughnuts just to see it as a freemium item down the road lol
