So here I am, lost somewhere in the far west of the U.S. Surrounded by all things Geek n Nerd. AND LOVING IT!! Stick around, I may have some fun tails to tale. Lol.
I first of all would like to give a BIG “Thank You!!” to TinyCo and FOX. They graciously provided me the Pass to San Diego Comic Con. So, THANK YOU TINYCO AND FOX! Two truly amazing Companies.
Now to the next part… I just want EVERYONE to know, this post and all things brought to you by Bunny during San Diego Comic Con are based on my own true experiences and opinions. No one will influence me. HA! I would like to just see them try. This is actually my very FIRST time at San Diego Comic Con. (I have been to other smaller ones.) So be prepared for raw, unedited (unless Alissa sees it before I sneak it past), all access pass to the Cray Cray that is Con and Bunny. Probably a very toxic mix. Be afraid.
ON WITH THE SHOW!!!
Arriving at the Con THIS caught my eye from the car…
Nothing like the artistic version of the Simpsons on FXX as your first Con sighting to put a smile on your face.
So this being my first Con, I didn’t really plan anything out at all. It was a “Preview Night” and I figured kinda quiet and calm. Ummmm…NO!! OMG… wall to wall people at times. Some areas difficult to navigate, but…I did still enjoy it. I was a giant Geek kid in a giant Geek candy store. I never knew where to look. Became very ADD at times because I would blink and something else would catch my eye (no alunited…no angels…yet). I have to say I was quite impressed.
Now, I am the type of person that is grateful for those that go out of their way to do really cool things for me…so my first stop…the FOX booth of course. There was quite the line of people around it. Made me happy to see so much excitement for things I loved a lot myself. So I snuck a quick hello in to Matt from TinyCo, then set to return later after the rush was gone.
When I later went back to the FOX Booth, I was able to also give my thanks to a very awesome guy from FOX. (Adam is indeed a cool guy.) He is the one had his hand in getting me this cool pass along with Matt from TinyCo. So what do you do when you meet two people you are completely in awe and appreciative of? TAKE A PIC OF COURSE!! (Matt even helped to give me my Bunny ears. Lol.)
We also tried an individual image…but turned out a lil blurry. That’s ok, can always take another. It was only the first day.
After again thanking them, I wandered the Con some more after that. (Don’t worry… I am not letting them off that easy. I have questions. Lots of them. Lol.) I was hoping to see some great Cosplaying, but soon remembered…special night. SO…tomorrow perhaps. Just as I was about to give up…I saw this kid.
He was adorable. Really nice. A simple Bart costume, but I caught it right away. Said his sis was supposed to be Lisa, but she was unable to get a Preview Night Pass. I was also told, they will be Simpsons the entire Con…RALPHIE even!! So…I know what I am going to be looking for tomorrow. Lol.
Now it is long past the end of Day One for me, and I am exhausted. More so from flight delays, travel, and adjusting to time. I know there was not too much info here, but it was such a short few hours and not much time to get a lot in outside “window shopping”. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds. Today was only a few hours, tomorrow…ALL DAY! Wish me luck! #BunnyCon

Loved this post! Always wanted to go to Comic Con but never knew much about it. Really would of loved to go today since 24:LAD was there! 😀 one of my favourite shows. Hope you have a great time there Bunny and hope there are more posts like these to come.

OMG ZELDA!!! I took a few pics of LEGO stuff they had around the outside. One is a lil furry guardian from a newly released movie on top of a giant twig. HAHAHAHAH. I think you know who I am talking about. 😉

Be sure to go outside the convention center and look across the street – you can’t miss the GIANT Homer Simpson head! Also, there’s a Marge Simpson make-up boutique happening at MAC (also across the street in the Gaslamp District) and they’re doing make-overs and giving away limited edition Marge palettes. 🙂 I’m skipping today because my husband has the booth covered (we’re pros/exhibitors) but I’ll keep an eye out for you over the weekend!
Oh my, that is so cool! Enjoy it so much, I’m be here waiting for more updates!
But the real reason I am here is to share with y’all something I did. Since I have had no work the past month, I was able to get real creative with my Springfield. So I went and gone made me an EyeSpy Disinfected Springfield! Let me know if you’d like to direct me somewhere to give out more information. Can’t wait to see others make their own EyeSpy towns too!

This place blows my mind
So jealous. I have wanted to go to SDCC for decades now, have never gotten close. Probably never will. Surprised they did not release Bartman, Clobbergirl or the Collector skins foe the con. Maybe next year. Have fun. If you see the Penny Arcade booth say hi for me.
