Level 43 and the O-Meters

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 43 has arrived in Springfield!  And, as usual, with the release of Level 43 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed.  Let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are, so  you can have all the information you’ll need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

What IS different about this update is it’s solely for Krustyland.  So while the requirements for a 5-Star town have changed, not one of the new buildings/decorations will impact it.  Instead the new rides, restaurants & decorations will impact your Krust-O-Meter.  Although the requirements for the Krust-O-Meter do not change.

Confused yet?  To recap…Conform-O-Meter requirements have changed with Level 43, Krust-O-Meter requirements have not changed with the update.  New buildings for Level 43 will impact the Krust-O-Meter only, no impact on the Conform-O-Meter.

So enough explaining, let’s show you.  At Level 43 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter:

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
43     490      310       282/326
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
27,425/41,620          219     2,160

As you can see, Level 43 only increased a few of the requirements.    Tree-hugging has jumped up 1,450 points.  Vanity saw a 2,000 point increase while Righteousness went up about 10 points (seems to be the new norm.  If you’re seeing a drop, just add some training walls).  Hey more people in Springfield the harder it is to keep crime off the streets! And Socialism saw a 114 point jump…which should be easy to hit with all the friend visits to find those free donuts, once you’re maxed out on FP!

So now let’s take a look at how these new buildings and decorations Level 43 dropped in impact our Krust-o-Meter (again the requirements have not changed for the Krust-O-Meter):

Item Cost Category Points
Krusty’s Giant Wheel 4,000 Tickets Nausea 10
Tavern on the Scream 1,500 Tickets Grub 10
Scratchy Balloon 1,250 Tickets Kitsch 100
Poochie Balloon 1,000 Tickets Kitsch 100
Unoriginal Log Ride 75 Donuts Nausea 20
Krusty’s One Plate Maximum Buffet 40 Donuts Grub 20
Duff Beer Fountain 10 Donuts Nausea 5
Itchy Balloon 30 Donuts Kitsch 30
Itchy & Scratchy Billboard 40 Donuts Kitsch 40

So there you have it my friends…just how all the new goodies from Level 43 impact our Krust-o-Meters..and how Level 43 changes the Conform-O-Meter!  What do you think?  Let us know how your meters are doing!  Are you maxed out?  If not what area(s) currently needs a boost?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

  1. I’m on level 44 and haven’t had any new quests for Krustyland in a long time. I’ve let all the characters sit without tasks to see if any quests will come up. I read that when I reached level 43 that a new quest (princess and the pea) should happen but it hasn’t. Do I have a glitch?

  2. Is it me or is anyone else bored with tapped out right now? There is nothing going on. I finished the level 43 krustyland stuff fairly quickly and was kind of disappointed with the results. All I’m doing now is sending characters on 8 & 12 hour missions to try to earn back some of the 10 million I regrettably spent on the revolving restaurant. I’ve gotten 4 million of it back so far. At least I have that other fox animated show to focus on while I wait for something new to happen in Springfield. I really enjoyed the Stonecutter event and I love the Simpsons so I’m not quitting the game. I just hope some new drops sooner than later. Sorry for complaining. End of rant.

  3. Not sure where to post this question, but would you guys know if they are going to open up any more SP tiles?

  4. For the Krust-o-Meter I have no clue. Luckly for some reason I have a 5-star rating. No idea how that happend. I only added the new things required for the Penelope update.
But For the Conform-O-Meter Righteousness I found out if you keep your criminals (Fat Tony, Herman, Legs, Louie & Snake) in jail all the time the meter stays on the 5 star rating. Don’t know if this is posted already somewhere but just my five cent to the addicts universe :)!

  5. Thanks for the info! Surprised that the Itchy balloon doesn’t give more kitsch than Scratchy or Poochie, especially since it’s premium.

  6. Still one star off to max out my consumerism. So hoping for something like the sit’n’rotate that boost up my gluttony rating!
