Should I Spend Donuts On the One Plate Maximum Buffet?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 43 has arrived on our favorite Tapping Devices & with it comes signs of life for the once forgotten Krustyland!  New rides, restaurants and decorations have made Krustyland relevant again, at least for 1 level anyway.  Now I know you may be trying to decide if the new premium items are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to tell you what’s worth your donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the One Plate Maximum Buffet to your Krustyland?  Well before you hit that confirm spend button, let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this restrictive buffet to your Krustyland…..

opmbuffet_menu

Building: Krusty’s One Plate Maximum Buffet
Donut Price: 40 donuts
Payout: 90 tickets, 35xp/12hrs
Unique?: Yes, only 1 per Krustyland
Krust-o-Meter Points: Grub +20
Size: 10×8
Where Can I Place It?: Krustyland Only

Pros
-New animated restaurant for Krustyland
-Adds a 5hr ticket earning task for Homer, Comic Book Guy, Wiggum, Eddie & Lou
-Small questline attached to it.
-More reasonably priced of the 2 Premium Krustyland buildings

Cons
-It’s a Krustyland only decoration, meaning in order to see in in action (or have your characters use it) they have to be taken from Springfield to Krustyland.
-Does not come with a character

Final Thought:
For me this is more of a buy than the Unoriginal Log Ride, only because of the donut cost.  This is more reasonably priced at 40 donuts and allows for multiple characters to interact with it.  However, it’s still a toss up.
Again this one (at least in my opinion) it comes down to how many donuts you have, and how often you visit Krustyland.  If you don’t spend a ton of time in Krustyland, or you don’t have a stockpile of donuts burning a hole in your pocket, this might be something you want to pass on.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you after some thought I did purchase the Buffet.    However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process.  The buffet will still be there in a few weeks.  So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get it.

  1. Hey!
Not something specific to this item, but something I was wondering…
Do you know how many donuts do I need to buy everything from the store?
And what about everything that was ever for sale (Gil’s deals, events…)
I just bought my second $100 donuts and was wondering how much more would it cost me to get everything.
    Thanks!

  2. Question….I bought it and the first question was with Homer and Wiggum and someone else eating there…I finished it but clicked to fast to see the message that popped up…do you know what it was?

  3. I bought it, but then I’m a completist so I had to. I will say that this level has brought me back to Krustyland and I’m enjoying it, adding decorations, changing the layout, having my characters interact with the rides again. It’s a good thing.

  4. It was cheap, it was something new for Krustyland (finally) and it had a questline. Of course I bought it and I’m glad I did.
